Comment:

Very knowledgeable man. He is such a stickler when it comes to following the rules and "university guidelines." He is willing to help, though his character and demeanor make him come off as unwelcoming and uninviting. Lots of papers, one midterm exam and one final exam. He is one of the very few professors that give an actual final exam. Beware

Fine teacher and an okay class... typical english class. A lot of readings and a lot of mini assignments. One big research paper at the end of the semester. But it was not that hard and is extremely manageable. He's a pretty fair grader also. OKAY class and professor for EN12.

Weird dude- talks about sex so much. I worked hard in his class so I got a good grade. I sat in the front and he asked so many personal questions in front of the class- very uncomfortable. If you do the work, you can get an A but participation and attendance are mandatory.

I have Moliterno for both EN11 & EN12, he is a decent professor who has control over the English language & literature of all sorts, specifically Shakespearean. He is interesting in class when discussing lectures & uses modern topics, he tries to engage everyone. With 5 essays, he is willing to help with all of them which results in a good grade.

Not a bad class. If you just spark note the readings and pay attention when he goes over them in class you will be fine. Be sure to take notes as the midterm and final revolve around the readings. Really not that hard of a class. Allows computers to be out so you can just surf the internet and chime in every few minutes. Recommend.

All you do in this class is sit through a boring lecture and go over homework which is made up of research inquiries and readings. We have quizzes on the readings and are the easiest thing if you lookup summaries of the readings on google. He is a fair grader and will help you with your essay if you go to his office hours. The papers are only 3 pgs

We have way too many papers. He assigns inquiries every week that are like mini research assignment and only count for a little bit of your grade but like impossible to get full credit on. Has no concept of timing so come the end of the semester you will have 3 papers to write in a week and he doesnt think its that bad. Pretty boring class too.

Great guy, might seem a bit off when you first meet him, however he is a good teacher, very unbiased, and prevents his own bias from getting in the way of topics, fair grader, there is a little work but by no means a lot, I would strongly recommend taking this class

He's a nice guy and all (a little out there though), but his class is kind of hard to sit through for 75 minutes. I found the essay topics to be extremely boring compared to what my friends were writing about. I wouldn't recommend taking the class, but he's definitely not the worst option for EN11/12

Easily the best professor in the English department. The things that people are saying here point to the low level of academic prowess at Fairfield. Leave to these people to focus on his appearance or his use of sexual analysis as "talking about sex too much." You are all morons, and I am sad that I have to go to the same school as you.

Taken for EN 12 also. He's a weird guy but the class isn't that hard. EN 11 has 6 papers, and he will help you with them if you ask for it. Just e-mail him with tips or ideas and he's good. Doesn't ever look you in the eye, so do the same so that you don't get called on

Not a bad teacher, but very strange man. He relates everything to something sexual. He does dissect everything you say and you have to have an explanation for everything. However, there isnt very much work, 6 papers and no final. Very strange but overall not a bad teacher

Easy grader as long as you're on his good side- takes attendence. Receive little work, and everything he wants you to know he touches on in class- need to pay attention which is difficult. Be prepared for him to dissect/question every statement you make. Good guy.
