Miners is a great guy and he is very into what he teaches and he cares alot about his students. He gives alot of work though and his tests are hard. everyone fails but he gives a BIG curve at the end of the semester. The tests are sometimes like the questions in the book but not always. be prepared for labs every week

Get out if you can. He doesn't help, he is a trickster. He tries to convince you that he wants to help you, but in actuality he doesn't help at all. He helps enough where he acknowledges you are having a problem but never solves it. The tests are awful. Teach yourself, god knows he won't. Read the book if you want to pass.

Nice guy, knows his stuff. Class is a bit boring at times. The online stuff is really annoying. I wouldn't say he is the best teacher in the Economics department, but not a bad choice. Very approachable and I think he does curve the grade as mentioned below.

Good teacher-very knowledgeable, kinda funny at times...but lots of online work on aplia and labs can be difficult. Doesn't always return e-mails right away and tests can be extremely hard. However there are a lot of little grades that help your grade and he adds a lot of extra points to your final grade. I got 60 and 70 on both tests and got a B+

Genuinely nice guy, open to suggestions about his teaching. The course is tough but getting an A is completely possible. Definitely not the most interesting or fun course I've ever taken but it's managable. I voluntarily rolled over into his EC 12 class. Also, I'm pretty sure he curves the final grade.

Professor Miners is the nicest guy. His class is tought right out of the book and everything is done through problems. this isn't a definition memorizing course. Tests are hard but he add a rediculous amout of extra credit to your final grade. alot of little assignments but they get you to know the material.

Class is important to know the material. He assigns many of his assignments online which may or may not suit your individual preferences. He really gets into class examples... it can get pretty funny when he gets angry at things. It seems if you do everything you get a B.

Professor Miners probably has been my favorite teacher this year and is just a really nice guy. He teaches the topics clearly and effectively along with throwing a crazy curve on your final average. Definitely take him.
