WORST PROFESSOR IN ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! Campano, otherwise known as the legend for being so old does not care about you and never will. He lives in conn. and literally shows up for two days. When you ask for help he tells you to go to the tutors and does not respond to emails. His syllabus is unclear and he strays away from it.

Get ready to read the textbook by yourself. The grade is only made of two midterms and a final. You will learn a lot from his life experience.

kiss your syllabus goodbye because after the first test it gets thrown out the window. really only shows up to class to read off of a powerpoint and tell life stories. only positive about this class are the open book exams but if you actually want to learn, id suggest you take a different prof for stats

You will learn absolutely nothing in his class. Is not willing to help students and expects them to see tutors if they need help. Will never respond to emails even though he claims that he does. Only positive about the class are open book exams. AVOID AT ALL COST!

Professor Campano is well into his 80's and his teaching style clearly reflects this fact. If you are an Econ major I highly recommend you avoid his class, you will learn absolutely nothing. Take his class immediately after you take Micro, you won't have to open the textbook once. Be ready for Death by PP and numerous & irrelevant personal stories.

Unless you're good at learning on your own, without any guidance from the professor whatsoever, by all means take Campano. Otherwise, you'll get virtually nothing out of his courses. His curves & open notes/textbook exams are the only thing that'll get you to pass. I've found Youtube to be much more of a reliable source than the professor himself.

STAY AWAY FROM HIM. I took him thinking he was an easy teacher based on previous reviews. But his exam criteria is so unclear, no questions or lecture notes to study from. Very tough grader. Also, he basically just sits on the chair behind the podium and mumbles. He will never reply your email, and doesn't care how you do in the class. STAY AWAY.

I've literally never had a worse professor in my life. Campano doesn't care about how you do in the class. There hasn't been a single day that he hasn't put up slides and then sat in a chair facing the board reading from them word for word. His lectures are unclear and unhelpful. Honestly, stay away from him if you can.

Very smart 80-something year old prof.. used to work at the UN. Lectures are really boring right up until the moment that he tells some crazy interesting story about politics, the Soviet Union or the UN that makes it all worth it. xD Extremely easy class. Open-book exams. High curve. Didn't study even once and got A's.

Easy teacher, pick him for an easy A. But don't expect to learn much. He has a nickname of "The Legend" basically because his classes are all so easy.

Fred 's an adorable elderly professor who's extremely knowledgable, but I found his class difficult. He uses slides but sometimes strays away from teaching textbook material. The tests are based off textbook questions so you have to learn material yourself. Open textbook tests. Do NOT take it if you're an econ major because you won't learn enough.

Had him for Microeconomics. What a joke. He teaches the material, but you will feel really unprepared if you are an economics major. Take his class if you want an easy A and need to get rid of a core requirement. IF econs is your major, I would try to shy away from him

Basically, you don't have to go to class. He could careless about you. His lectures usually insist of powerpoints from the textbook. The key is to write/comprehend everything he writes on the board! That stuff is on the final. And btw, he likes to reuse questions. Another, if you screw up one test (out of three), you won't get higher than a B.
