Come to class prepared for discussions. You must pass the exams and write an excellent final paper. If you have a class full of students who do not like to talk, the class will be boring.

I took Metaphysics with Professor Loewer. He is unlike any person I've ever met before. He is without any doubt knowledgeable about many if not all philosophical topics. He enjoys interacting with his students so if you have any questions he will be willing to answer them with depth. Exams are easy if you attend lectures and know the key concepts.

Comment:
Loewer is an incredible man His knowledge regarding philosophy of cosmology and time is absolutely astounding. I have never met a more humble and down to earth professor at Rutgers. BC he has a personal stake in the debates you may become indoctrinated too soon , ask him for other sources so you can learn more about contrary positions as well.

Had for Applied Symbolic Logic. Was only a final paper 10 pages. Easy grader. Very different from Logic 201. You will learn about a lot of interesting stuff in this class, but not much about logic. Weird class but good if you are looking for something fun and easy. If you are looking to learn about logic take with someone else.
