This is the second part of CIS 412 and CIS 490 is easier. If you made it this far, you should be good, as long as you try. Same group, same company as CIS 412. Less activities and more focused on the report. Presentations are easier as well. Still a lot of work and time consuming though. Fred is a great guy and these classes will prepare you!

Being one that normally likes to work alone, it was a bit odd to be thrown into a group with other people I do not really know that well. It was not really that hard, with just having a learn smart assignment due every Sunday. You also have the chance to get extra credit all throughout the semester. Good professor in general.

Basically, this is the second half of the hardest class you have ever taken. If you made it this far then you are probably fine. This half is full of easy presentations and a lot of events you have to attend. Show up to everything and you will be fine. If you have rent to pay, sorry but your paychecks are about to get smaller!

I honestly like Fred, he cracks me up big time. He will fail at dealing with technology, which will make your day. Homework is basic reading with questions, but YOU MUST REMEMBER THEM WEEKLY, even on vacations. Just show up and actually try on tests and quizzes.

This class is the hardest class you will take. All the rumors you will hear about this class are true. Fred is a great guy but you must work hard throughout the whole semester. You will want to quit especially at the beginning but DON"T. Your effort is awarded in the end. Entire class is a real life project with a real company. Time consuming!

Hardest class you will ever take in your life. Start a project that is massive and his grading criteria are the most insane criteria ever set forth. You will do presentations where he will critique you so hard you will feel like a failure. Unless you take this class alone YOU WILL STRUGGLE. Its meant to break you down until you can't go anymore.

You must show up to pass this class, he did a flipped classroom approach this semester so homework was done in class and reading was done outside of class. I did learn the content, however, I hope he goes back to lecturing next semester. As homework is done in class- you have to come. Overall a nice guy.

Super chill dude. You work in groups every class, but you just have to do it and then you get an A. Just show up and do the readings. Straightforeward, and kindof fun in my opinion.

Good teacher. Every day there was group work but he was very helpful. You get extra credit if you attend different events and there is homework due every Sunday.

Kitchens was the least helpful professor I had and probably the laziest. You literally show up, do a group project that really doesn't apply to what you are learning in the book and then leave. I learned nothing from him. I also went to his office with a problem and he refused to help me. I would never take one of his classes again. POINTLESS.

Dr. Kitchens is a super hard grader. He expects so much out of students. It's a very hard class but he is there to help if needed. He's a great guy loves to joke around and make sure that every student is successful in their careers. He is tough on students and their projects/presentations because he wants to make you a better professional.

You have to get in groups almost everyday. He never lectures, you just do assignments with your groups most of the time. The tests were harder than expected but as long as you go to class, do assigned homework and read the chapters you should get an A.

Professor Kitchens covered a very small percentage of material that you are expected to know due to poor planning. He did not seem to care about the course very much. He was willing to admit when his lab did not work right or when he put a bad question on a test. Take advantage of extra credit opportunities!

Hardest class you will ever have to take in your 4 years of college, and required to graduate with IS. But, he is the most helpful prof at BSU who cares about his students success. This class will consume almost ALL your free time, but he will make sure you have a job before graduating in May. Plus he is ALWAYS available for help outside of class.

Easily the worst professor I have had at Ball State. He does not teach you the information that will be on quizzes and tests. Instead of teaching you it he just gives you extra credit. Never responded to emails! Labs were pointless Horrible horrible professor. Avoid!

Fred Kitchens is an amazing professor. His class is intentional not clear to prepare you for business which requires thought, creativity and networking. The class requires a student to remove themselves from hand holding and rote memorization of equations and requires you to think outside of the norm.

Dr Kitchens is a terrific teacher. ISOM135 is an easy course, and he treats it as such. ISOM412 and ISOM419 are very difficult, time consuming courses that WILL prepare you for a job. If you apply yourself, Dr Kitchens will work diligently to help you land a job after graduation. Dr Kitchens does more for his students than any other BSU professor.

Complete joke...yet I'm not laughing. The class is good in theory, but taught by a lazy, pretentious, idiotic baboon. He wants you to think he is doing a favor not teaching, but when you are working with REAL clients, it would be nice to have some direction. If you think this is a good class, then you obviously have no self respect or dignity.
