Fred is a super fun and easy going guy. He gives clear grading criteria however go look at his past examples because if it is different from those you will receive a low mark. You do not get to keep your tests and he does not post anything on moodle so I have a very broad idea of what my grade is which is frustrating. Not a GPA booster

Fred is honestly a great guy, however, his grading is ridiculous and the effort needed for this class is way more than it should be. I am an A- average student in neuroscience and I found this class to be ridiculous marking wise. DO NOT TAKE AS A GPA BOOSTER, please learn from my mistake.

Fred in the gym is super fun and laid back, he's a good laugh. His tests and assignments need to be very detailed and require lots of work or you will not do good. I would avoid him as a teacher unless you are ready to put in more work than a PHAC class requires. Not a GPA booster.

Fred's in gym- classes are fun but he is a hard marker when it comes to assignments and exams. He definitely favors Kines majors and students on sports teams over other majors.

Fred is very helpful and laid back. His assignments/papers/exams are very simple if you read the notes provided. I would highly recommend his PHAC classes if you need a GPA booster. You need to attend class!!

If you are interested in getting your NCCP DO NOT take it with Fred. His exams are very difficult, and he doesn't provide guidelines for them. Attendance is mandatory for this class, yet he always cuts classes short. I was very disappointed with this class.

Class average around 50 - 60%. If you think a class with them is a GPA booster then you are mistaken. His coaching class midterm was a nightmare due to lack of heads-up, poor English, and poor organization. He is funny and a nice person but he just wasnt meant for teaching this course. Try to avoid if you can...

If you have a problem with Fred, then you are the problem. Fred is a great instructor and knows the material. Attend, pay attention and participate. His exams are a little difficult but if you read what he tells you to read, then you will get an A. Fred's AWESOME!!!!

Badminton with Fred is a blast! He's a really nice guy to talk with, and he's more than willing to help if you aren't getting something. If you ask for help, he is more likely to be lenient when doing skill tests. His quizzes are simple if you have read and know the course handout.

Great teacher, the skill that you are taught have some quirks, but if you practice for each skill test for 2-3 hours you will be fine. The quizzes have some thought behind them but he gives you everything that you need to pass. Personally a great man fun to talk to, but he like the Oiler, and I like the Flames

Overall he is a great prof. Fred encourages a lot of self learning, but that is the nature of a phac class. His tests can be a bit difficult for those that dont study. Attend, pay attention, do your assignments, and place a little effort into His classes and you will be rewarded
