Very kind and understanding professor. The lectures are very pointless and boring. The map quizzes are easy if you study, the test are hard. My friends and I would read the text book and study guide and still have no idea where he got his multiple choice questions.

TAKE THIS CLASS! easy A! you get everything from lecture and this class is a lot like his 106 class. attendance is mandatory but you HAVE to show up every day to get the easy A. hardest part is staying awake through class.

He is such a sweetheart and just becuase he doesn't talk loudly doesn't mean he's terrible - it just means you need to pay attention. There's only 4 map quizzes and 3 exams NO FINAL!! And if you go to class and put in the effort it's an easy A.

A lot of people complain about him, but they're the annoying kids in the back of the room not paying attention. If you put effort into the class you'll get a lot out of his lectures. He's definately old school, but sit up front and pay attention.

If you have a brain, SHOW UP to class and LISTEN, this class is an easy A. A handful of map quizzes and three easy tests consisting of multiple choice, definitions, and short answer. I didn't open the book once all semester, but I listened in class and easily passed all the tests. He talks softly and the class is sometimes pretty boring though.

Fairly easy. There's no need to go after the first midterm unless you want those 5 attendance pts. Format for all tests/quizzes are the same. He's nice and very helpful. The only downside is he passes the attendance sheet halfway into class so if you want to leave early, by the time it gets to you, class if almost over anyway.

For all those people who said this class is boring you are simply unwilling to learn about the rest of the world.This class is very straight to the point. 3 Tests 4 map quizzes. They are not hard just require effort and class attendance (welcome to college). Very freindly professor who knows alot. Take him.

This class is straight forward in that he follows his syllabus and gives 4 map quizes. It is a rather boring class. He talks about topics that he does not expect you to know on the test, which can be misleading. He curves in the end, which is always a plus.

EASY map quizes. HARD midterms. STUDY FOR THEM. his class is so boring, i fall alsleep everytime i hear him talk. No need to take notes, just read the book and follow the review sheet. If you want fun dont take this class unless you have a friend with you. O! sit in front he talks so soft.

Pretty easy class so far. Go to class, and skim through the readings. Ive done that, and gotten A's on everything so far. Book is helpful, plus there is a study guide. takes question topics from the study guide. He also gives a study guide for each test. There are map quizzes. Know countries and capitals. Then he has matching/locate.

He's a nice little old man, kind of reminds me of Mr. Rogers. Map quizzes on each continent, very easy. For tests, he gives out a study guide and you just need to know those key terms. I only used the book to look up the key terms. Multiple choice from tests comes from lecture.
