He is horrible at teaching he provides notes,no book. attendance and webwork will bump you to the next grade. is hard to understand him and he will make the student feel dumb.quizzes are multiple choice, midterms and final show work. at longest you do good on quizzes and webwork and attendance student will pass.

WORST teacher ever, I LOVE math and he has no clue how to teach. He goes too fast and no one understands anything. He thinks he knows it all and doesn't explain anything. DO NOT take this teacher you will regret it 100%. His test are hard and there is no book used in the class, just his lecture notes. AVOID AVOID AVOID

He is SOOOOO bad. I only survived because i lived in the tutoring office. Nothing he says makes any sense!! He assumes you are dumb and tries to show off all that he knows. He made my week unbearable. Like REALLY SAD!!! Try to get another professor who really tries to help you. He is not good. Do Webwork extra credit brought grade up from B-to A-

Doesn't smile, make eye contact and monotone. Not that the guy doesn't know his stuff but it can be a challenge for a student to connect with him and the material. Extra credit for attendance and WebWork. Don't fall for when he says that final exams are similar to practice exams for he might 'change' his mind. Practice and get outside help

Comment:

Brulois is very passionate about math, as so he proves in all his proofs & always available. Can be very inconsistent when preparing (or lack thereof) for midterms/finals. The biggest turnoff is that he does not engage with the students to make sure if everyone is on the same page, ESPECIALLY when introducing new material.

He does lecture to the board and sometimes he makes things harder than they have to be. This is true. However, he also offers a lot of extra credit and always allows extra time for tests, which is good since they are long and difficult. That being said, this is calculus. It's hard by nature. If you study and do the homework, you should be fine.

Tough class. Uses the book just for problems and has his own way of doing problems which made learning difficult. We just had a 2 hour final and he gave us an additional hour because no one was done. I'm just glad it's over. Also, if you like teachers who lecture to the board, this is the class for you.

I passed the class with a C .. and I studied harder for this class than I ever have before in any other course. I'm not a slacker and I always work hard to keep my GPA up, but this class was a nightmare. I'm just happy its over and I never have to take him ever again. You can tell he's a nice person BUT just not a very good instructor.
