he is a nice guy....but some of his test questions were ridiculous. this class was really hard! plus, his writing is impossible to read and he moves really fast. his accent doesnt help much either. dont take this class if you want an A.

He is a straightforward teacher and his tests are not out to trick you. He wants you to do well and understand that material but practicing the problems is a must. Plus he always let us out of leture 20 min early

Good lecture. Good at teaching. Attitude is pretty bad. Repetive (but sometimes its helpful). His tests are pretty simple, maybe its just me that I didn't do so well. Nothing tricky, he tests exactly what he teaches. Homework every week, can't be late. make sure u pick up ur exam or else he'll be asking where have you been. he wont teach next sem.

DO NOT TAKE THIS MAN'S COURSE, he is an absolute idiot and does NOT know how to help students, 1/3 of the class failed the first test, then if you go to his office to go over the test he does NOT help and puts you down! i got 10/10 on EVERY homework and he told me that they must be grading it wrong! what a jerk!

Easy to take notes from him, if he does go a bit fast. Goes over, problem by problem, what will be on the exam. Anxious to answer any questions - he actually likes helping you. Easily the best Math prof at BU. If you get the chance to take him, do.

Writing is messy. He teaches his own style and does not condone the book. He will state many times that his methods can solve types of problems that they don't cover in the book....but they clearly do. Go to his office hours...at 8 am for me :( He will raise your homework grade if you simply tell him you think you did it right. Nice guy.

Prof. F. does have bad handwriting and makes mistakes, but he thanks you when you point out any mistakes he may make. Unless you don't fulfill your expectations as a student (e.g. be on time to class, do your homework, etc.), he's very nice and helpful (funny too). Do the problems from class on your own and his exams are straightforward.

Don't get this professor.Switch as soon as you can.Freedman's grading policy is ridiculous.He makes numerous mistakes in every example, has horrible handwriting, and moves extremely quickly for those who have not taken Calculus before.Do whatever you can to get another professor.

people who already took calc seemed to do well.... but not because he taught them anything. In fact, most people said that if they hadn't taken calc, they would have failed. So moral of the story: DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS IF U HAVE NOT ALREADY TAKEN CALC!!

Take this class if you have a good memory or a fast note taker. cause the prof will talk and write at the same time. The test is kinda hard but not unreasonable. Fairly good course though. The prof doesn't teach much, although he does a lot of proof.
