Flat out, do not take her class if you have a job, or have any other difficult class in the same semester. She does not care about you or your time. You will spend 2x the amount of hours outside of her class then what the syllabus says. She is not helpful with questions about content, just responds with vague questions or comments.

Dr. H is really makes you work to get a good grade in the class. There is a good chance that you will know most of the material by the end. However, she doesn't seem to understand when the entire class is confused, and it makes it very difficult to catch up. You will spend a lot of time out of class doing homework and labs.

Went to office hours multiple times and received no help. She answered questions with more questions I obviously didn't have the answer to. Told me my associates degree was worthless (not all associates, just mine).

Boot camp. Her class is absolute boot camp. The good thing is you will actually know the material by the time the course is over. She's a generous grader and a lovely woman, but good lord did I spend a lot of time in front of a computer outside of class. Soft-spoken but with a spine of STEEL

Nice woman but a bad teacher. Spent weeks on simple concepts, then rushed through tougher material. It's distracting that she says K constantly during lectures! She doesn't speak concisely, poor feedback, and wasted entire classes on 1 or 2 queries. She is a generous grader, but she has to be, otherwise most of the class would fail. Not recommended

The best CS teacher I've had at the school thus far. She really does want everyone in her class to succeed and will help you through mistakes on the labs and quizzes. That being said, ALOT of work but for good reason. For all the work put in, you learn so much. She tries to keep the class thinking and involved in lectures

Dr. H's lectures, quizzes, homeworks and labs are all straight forward and clear, but they require an insane amount of your time. If you fall behind in her class, you will prob. fail. That being said, if you make it through, you'll prob. pass with an A and an unshakable understanding of the material. Just make this class your semester's priority.

Dr.H is amazing in explaining 5 Ws and 1 H of any database concept. She knows her stuffs very well. She sometimes lightens up the class and helpful. Teaching methodology is excellent. Its easy to understand. The project in this course was a wonderful experience.

Dr. H is my favorite professor of college. She is not easy and not a push over, but you will learn so much from her if you put the time in. If you are a CS major at Rowan you need to take her. Her DSA and DAA classes were my favorite courses during my career and I learned the most about programming from these classes.

I loved having Dr. H as a professor. Take notes and read, it will make the labs much easier. The only exam is the final which is kind of difficult. There's a lab midterm which isn't bad as long as all of your labs are up to date. We had 6 quizzes throughout the semester. Turn labs in on time, if something's wrong she tells you and lets you redo it

Her IOOP class was like a programming bootcamp and her labs were thorough assignments but you''ll walk out knowing a lot about the foundations of Java before moving to OOPDA and DSA. She introduced concepts of those courses too. She wants you to do well and will help you succeed. Participate in class. It looks good and helps you understand better.

To start off, she wants all her students to succeed and have the best basis for computer science. Within this, the labs are crazy long and if you get one part of it wrong, you need to redo. Her voice is kinda annoying and she says the word "Right" after every sentence. Alot of work and aggravation comes from this class but it was worth while

Where to begin with this one. Her writing on the board is ridiculous. It's a quiz in itself to learn the way her numbers look, because of where she's from. Her accent and voice make you want to fall asleep. Definitely knows what she's talking about though. Be prepared for notes and labs. Not that she can help it, but the mole is distracting.

Very difficult class. Challenges you to come up with your own solutions, but more than willing to help when you feel lost. The stuff you learn here will be with you forever. Additionally, make damn sure that you keep up to date with the work, otherwise it'll nail you.
