She is funny and very helpful. Just make sure u understand ur notes bc thats where the exam questions come from. Only touch the book when it came to recitation problems. Take her!!

She is an awesome teacher for genetics. WAY better than Mechling. She makes funny little comments about genetics when you least expect it. Which is good for an 8 o clock class. She does have a sense of humor and her exams are straight from the notes. Dont really bother with the book unless you cant comprehend your notes.

This class is a good class. It was a bit much for me because I'm not terribly interested in genetics. Dr. Gasparich is a nice lady though and and she's gives lots of ways to earn extra points. She's better than Mechling!

Dr. Gasparich is a sweet professor. She is willing to go out of her way to help you if needed. Her take home exams are VERY time consuming but fair. Expect to spend many hours on pub med for graduate molecular biology. However you learn alot and she is very fair and nice!

She is so adorable! She understood that no one in our class was a science major, and made sure we learned a lot without making the information too difficult. The tests are based on the notes, so if you go to class you'll be fine. It was fun and actually pretty interesting.

Dr. Gasparich is nice but lectures can be really boring. Stay on top of notes and reading and you might be able to understand her better. She tends to mumble when explaining how to do problems so pay close attention in class. Has a couple easy assignments and an easy paper to help boost your grade up a little. Willing to help you understand.

Does a good job making genetics understandable. Covers a good portion of txt. Obivously its not the easiest subject, so you need to put some time into it to get an A. Tough tests, she will sorta "drop" your lowest test grade if its inconsitent with the others. Group project = A, HW = A. Go to class, take notes, study, and you should do well.

Dr. Gasparich is by far one of the best instructors i have had to date. Though her exams are kind of hard, she gives other work to help you through the course. She is also very willing to help you succeed in the class. I highly recommend her for genetics.

Definitely a great professor, take her if you're not a Sci. major but need the Gen. Ed. A lot of work, but none of it too involved and she's a pretty forgiving grader. Funny lady, always willing to do whatever it takes so you will do well. Sci. isn't my thing, but I loved her nontheless.
