I took her online class for Winter 2010. I wouldn't say it was hard. She let you use notes. I would have to say her syllabus was like a text book unto itself. I am still not quite sure what the term paper was supposed to be about. Her comments were quite abrasive at times. Not a class for you if you can't check your ego.

Very nice teacher, easy class. Always willing to help you out during office hours. Interesting lectures. Always enthusiastic about Psychology. Excellent teacher :)She says you have to take a lot of notes to pass the class, but just take Psy-280 (lab) and everything will be a breeze!

This class was horrid. I don't feel that the instructor cared much about the success of her students and seemed to have an attitude problem. I think she may be leaving the college or retiring and that's just as well. I learned nothing and I hated the book she chose.

On-line class. TONS of reading and you have to read because she refers to the examples of people in her tests. Tests are VERY hard. She allows you to use notes (as many as you want to take in) but they didn't really seem to help. Tests are over about 8 chapters at a time and 100 questions each. Don't take this professor if you are a slacker.

She was a firm teacher but seemed nice. I had the class on-line, tests were extremely hard I took pages and pages of notes and nothing I wrote down was ever really on the test. She lets you use notes for tests... USe the Power Study! I got a B in this class and worked my butt off to get it.

I took the online class and it was very hard. No homework except for a weekly online easy assignment. The test were a 100 question and very hard. Sometimes I could not tell what was due or was not due. She does not need to be teaching this class. The test was always on about 6 chapters with about 200 terms to know. Don't take her.

Seemed very enthusiastic about psychology. She taught it well, but there was too much reading outside of class. The class itself wasn't hard, but requires a lot of studying.

47pg syllabus. Adds so much garbage to the online course that you can't tell whats going on, what is an assignment, and what is due. only recommend to part time/rec students. If you are taking a full course, this is far too tedious/confusing/no structure/MESS. She really expects that this class is the only thing in life you have going on.

useless!!! Doesn't answer e-mails and takes forever to grade anything. Tests are ridiculous. Always enjoyed hard teachers and applied thinking but this class was a joke as far as teaching. Too overwhelmed with other classes to take care of her online duties. Again "useless"

answers questions with questions. Never had a teacher that was so out of touch with her class. Do not take her for online course, absolutely useless. Is not dedicated to online class and leaves alot of people hanging with questions and as far as paper goes,her feedback is all questions and no useful information. not good teacher for online course. feedback takes very long time if at all. took 45 pages typed notes to test(very detailed) and still received only an 85%. she is not very responsible and obviously has too much on plate. I am 4.0 student with many classes under belt, with good hard teachers, this one is just plain horrible!!!!

I do not think students should be advise to take this class, because it helps with prices of books. It only give a $35 credited and books for this class alone our over $100. The teacher press students into doing online program that goes with the book, but gave no credits for doing it that not honorable in my eyes.

I loved Dr. Knapp! The test are all open notes, but you must take notes at home and it is time consuming. Her lectures are interesting and she makes the class fun. There is always extra credit possibilities for every test, which makes it easy to get an A!! Final project is not bad, but does take some thinking, she is always willing to help;0)

easy class, can make up one test. uses scratch off answer sheets for exams, you get your grades instantly. go to class, read the book and you will pass. plenty of opportunities for extra credit. nice, intense, good teacher.
