He gives quizzes online, but they are the same as the Wiley plus quizzes online. The tests are fairly hard so study! He just talks the whole class and tells irrelevant stories, but they are entertaining.

Tests are very easy, but I couldn't tell you one thing I learned in the class. He just read off the power point slides and that was all the information we needed. Also had a group paper at the end of the semester on a textbook we never used. Not a hard class, but he's not a very engaging teacher.

Did not learn a thing. Great man! Mid-Term and Final only. You get extra credit for going to class since it is optional to attend. Take this class, but not if you are a DSS major and actually need to learn this! Hershel is so kind!

Pros: its an easy A. Cons: This guy does not care about class at all. Hard to beleive this guy is the chair of DSS. He didnt even prepare a syllabus for class. You will learn nothing and its hard to give effort when he gives less than none to preparng for the class. Just show up and watch the movies he makes you watch -- thats it.

Herschel is the man. No class on Fridays unless you have to take an Excel or Access quiz (easy). He tells you everything you're going to need to know for the exams and tests. It's a super easy class, I would highly recommend him if you're looking for a blow-off class or an easy grade, but definitely not if you're looking to learn.

If you're looking to learn, stay away. If you're looking to get the class done with a decent grade, take him. He lectures one class, with the other being used to show your homework and nothing else. So really, it's one class a week. The hw can get tedious, but it's easy. Tests are so-so, but you can pass without studying. Take him, it's easy.

Easy teacher! All he wants is for you to do good! Basically gives you the exactly test in his outline! Office assignments get annoying and are long but if u get them done then its an easy grade...2 classes a week and one for teaching 1 for showing ur hw and u can leave...cool guy...knows a lot about bussiness intelligence! high recommend

Class is pointless, hardly takes attendance. Fridays you are there to get your work checked and then your done.Lately hes been takin attendance but someone can always sign u in. Tests are kind of tough, but he says the excel, access and powerpoint are worth more. no big deal. i hear hes the best in the department. take him!
