I had Owensby for several classes, and he is by far the funniest person I have ever met! His lectures are funny and informative! I have never learned so much and laughed so much at the same time. Also, he really REALLY loves The Beatles, so that makes him top notch in my book.

Owensby is an AWESOME professor! He is so funny! He also teaches very well. It's really easy to pay attention to the lectures since he is so funny. There is quite a bit of reading and you have quizzes after every reading (not hard if you actually read the book). He also grades easily and always gives feedback on work.

Owensby is one of the funniest people I've ever met. He always engages the class in his lecture. Always makes jokes. Keeps the class very comfortable studying the Bible. Brings snacks and coffee to class occasionally. His classes fill up quick, so register early for his classes.
