Overall, he was a good prof. My only complaint was that there were a few questions on the final asking for little details from the problem sets. Those did not test if I did/understood the problem sets, rather how good my memory was.

A very helpful professor. The exams tested some rather random material and DID test whether or not you had done the assignments. Understanding was stressed, especially for the crystallography section. I personally thought that he was rather funny.

Avoid at all costs. You will not learn anything useful this class, and will be insulted by the way he marks (spelling error? zero outta four). Exam q's stresses memorization of data given on problem sets (e.g. What's the first a.a. of this protein found on problem set 1)
