If you can get passed his coughing, throat clearing noises, and monotone voice, he is actually a great prof! Organic Chem is not an easy course, but if you pay attention and keep up in his classes you can be end up happy with your final mark.

this prof's a really nice guy when u actually get to talk to him, but he's not great at teaching even tho he knows his stuff inside out. chem264 was definitely one of the more difficult courses i've taken at uw. stay away from chemistry unless you love it. lots of memorization needed in this course, be ready to pull all nighters

ok so the guy has a bit of a communication problem. but i think people should cut him some slack. He knows what he's talking about and his lectures aren't so bad when people are NOT talking in his class. i think people should give him another chance.

This guy SUCKS! Words cannot express. He told me to do an electrophilic additon to the double bond of maleic anhydride! I can't think of a more electron deficent double bond. Hello "electrophilic"! He was never there, never listened, and wanted complete control of my project. HE SUCKS!!!!!!!!

I've only been to 6 of his classes and already I've started going to Bissonnette's. Clears his throat every 5 seconds, very distracting, walks back and forth,seems like he's going to trip over the projector wire, and you're lucky if you have a question that gets answered within 10 min ofraising hand

Although he is clearly a smart man who knows the material inside out, he can't teach. he is boring and unorganized, and often makes small mistakes in his lectures that cause confusion and correction afterwards. Loves to procrastinate- If he ever says something will be done soon give it another week.

He knows his stuff well and is an excellent teacher. Lectures are very clear and easy to understand. Only real issue is that it takes him about a month to grade anything, and he doesn't stop writing till class is over so you will be there an extra few mins coping notes of the board.
