Johnson is a true academic, he reads and integrates material constantly, always making connections. He is fascinating to listen to. Any graduate student can benefit by taking his classes and learning how good academics can be. He is also a very clear and compassionate teacher who genuinly cares about his students.

Johnson is great to motivated students but doesn't waste his time on freeloaders. If you work, he will help you immensely. He is the real deal, and actually a very nice guy. A great resource for graduate students: teaches you how to write and think logically in an unbiased way.

First day of class is really scary--It's a lot of work, but it was definately worth it! EXCELLENT PROFESSOR--he knows just about everything! Don't take this class if your're not planning to work hard...It's definately not an easy A! I would defiantely recommend him!!
