Comment:

Klein is an interesting teacher to say the least. His lectures are interesting, he is an overall good person. But he tests you on every single word that comes out of his mouth. Only graded on 2 journals, 3 in class exams, 1 final exam and essay. Tests are harder and more exhausting than a 4 hour police exam.

Great proffessor!! lessons are great and also very funny! Hes a really nice guy (unless hes mad) but if youre looking for a easy A this class is not for you! You are really in control of your own grade. Would definitely take his 20th century! Highly recommend

I enjoyed Dr. Klein's class. His teaching style is progressive - perception and context are key - so you will NOT get a traditional history lesson. His lectures are thorough, intense, and thought provoking. He assigns reading from paperback books. You must come to class and focus on the lecture. He talks about his trips - pay attention.

Dr. Klein is the most innovative history professor I have ever known. Have no illusions that because he's a nice guy, his class will be easy - If you take his course with this attitude you will fail. I worked extremely hard for the grade I received but it was the best history class I ever took (and it changed the way I look at history). TAKE HIM!

i do not think i have ever met a professor who was not willing to help out a struggling student, and told the student that the best thing possible is to drop the course, only 7 weeks into the semester? ALSO, this is not 20th century history! its "DR. Klein's personal belief on history" (make sure you say dr!) AVOID AT ALL COSTS POSSIBLE!

Coming from student that passed his class with a B I can say Prof. Klein makes his class harder than it needs to be. Instead of testing you on what you have learned about history, he bases test/quizzes on his beliefs and opinions about history. NOONE CARES about what you think. I am here to learn something about history, not what you THINK!!!

I did not find Dr klein to be funny at all. his lectures were okay but what bothered me the most was that his tests included questions about him. im sorry but i could honestly care less about your ex girlfriend Natalia. overall the class wasn't hard for me but i could see how people would struggle. online tests were pretty simple for me and no hw

The greatest professor! He is hilarious and has a unique way of teaching. Definitely pay attention and don't miss class because you will be behind. Other then that he's a great professor.

Class is open discussion, lectures are posted online on Google drive just in case you miss class. Very funny and entertaining and compares the lecture into things the class can relate to. Even though he's a cool dude his class could be difficult depending on how much work you put into it. Def. study and read. Don't take class lightly.

No text books, but had to buy two books for cheap. Good talks, funny, can be a lot of work. Really good at waking the brain to remember. I was remembering more in other classes. No history book, but still remember how WWI started. Very interesting. Gives feedback, talks on off time too. Dedicated. Gets class involved.

He records the classes for those who decided to skip or miss a day. He posts them almost immediately at the school library. Tests and questions are based on facts and concepts he discusses. RECORD HIS CLASSES IF YOU CAN. Helps a ton. Final take home essay at the end of the semester. Don't miss class. YOU WILL FAIL.

A LOT of notes to write down but it is all on the test. he shares his opinion but does not try to persuade you to agree. he is very understanding and very fair as long as you tell him the problem early. no phone but hey its a class its not allowed overall a great professor and would take his class again

Do not take this class! Worst class I have ever taken and hardest because he teaches his personal way. He embarrasses students for being on phones or not submitting things. If you already have a hard time retaining information in general, dont take this class. Not only do you have to retain info but your suppose to know his own personal stories.

He teaches everything HIS way, which makes things harder to retain. If you don't pay attention, or miss class you'll be completely out of the loop and lost. Expects you to remember every little detail he says for his extra credit questions he gives. Tests are difficult.

Great professor. One of the best I have ever had. Teaches you life lessons, as well as the course information. He makes Klein-Time very funny and he is just a good guy.
