Got an A without learning anything, seriously. Classes were boring, all he did was to open a topic and leave it to us saying "I wanna hear your thoughts, what do you make of this? He gives these meaningless 250 word reflection papers, you get a 10 whatever you write. He gives a very clear guideline for quizzes, just study the points he referred.

AMAZING! LADERMAN IS THE MAN. he is hyped up at emory but deserves all the hype. he is kind, adorable, funny and so knowledgeable and open minded and always willing to hear your opinion. Please take:) Also at emory, you dont find many professors who care more about people learning and feeling comfortable vs a damn letter grade. you will get an A:)

Laderman is one of my favorite teachers at Emory. He does not care about grades and knows all of his classes are easy As because they are designed that way. As long as you show up, you will get an A.

Gives "pop quizzes" that are part of your grade, but it is just an attendance check. Gives thorough study guides for each exam. Also offers extra credit. An excellent professor who cares deeply about what students learn from the class, not just giving out grades.

AMAZING funny professor! Took the class on a whim and it was an easy A. 7 quizzes (you can drop 2), 3 blogposts, and attendance. Uses clickers for attendance now. Did my homework in the class and got by without having to read much of the books. If you keep up with the readings, his lectures will be more interesting.

Laderman is the man. His class is super easy and he's pretty enthusiastic about the material. He recently began using iclickers for attendance but he is very lenient on those as well. He knows his sht, but you have show engagement with the work in order for him to show he really can change your perspective and leave knowing something you didn't.

I took the Native American/civil religion class on a whim. I learned a lot & it was very engaging. The class was mostly based on readings of a few books. The lectures were helpful in clarifying reading. Laderman has a great sense of humor & wants students to succeed & learn.
