Topic was pretty interesting. You have a 25 question test every week you get 2 tries. These test were pretty challenging since it tested you on things that weren't that important to the chapter. Good thing it was online so you can use your book so it wasn't to bad. The online lectures were a bit outdated. Gotta work hard for an A. Lots of reading

Best class I have taken in years. His lectures are interesting and you will learn a lot. Fair with all students, subject material, and homework/tests. Come prepared. He is ready to teach and expects you to be ready to learn.

Smart, explains expectations, makes class interesting with examples and personal stories to help comprehension, once in a while he gives extra test points if everyone got a problem wrong by choosing a similar answer to the right one. Just beware he makes tests hard on purpose, tricky wording, said, "book says this but a better answer is this".

Dr. Lemons' course was very enjoyable. He has a clear and concise style, but will elaborate on essential points that require extra time. Readily available for office hour visits if questions arise and always willing to I give pertinent advice. Cares deeply about the subject and does everything within his power to ensure you grasp all concepts.

PICK SOMEONE ELSE! Read the chapter, go to class, go over the chapter in class and take an exam. If your memory isn't the best don't take this class. Lots of reading, six exams during the semester plus a cumulative final. Will call on you in class and sometimes will go off topic for half a class period. NOT SOCIOLOGY, pretty much a history class...

Best class I have ever taken. Dr. Lemons really loves what he teaches and you can tell in his lectures. The topic itself is very interesting and makes you look differently at how people interact. As for the class, as long as you read the chapters and do the homework, the tests are a breeze. The final is easy and goes in order of the text book.

I just finished taking the Final Exam. There are homework assignments due weekly which means you have to read the book in order to pass. The topics are interesting and would take this class again. Show up to class. He gives extra credit that could save you at the end of the semester. He allows homework to be turned in late if you talk to him.

I'm currently taking a summer online course for Dr. Lemons. I really enjoy the class. There is a lot of reading involved. The quizzes and exam are fairly easy if you do your reading and retain the what you just read. I find the class very interested since I work in the medical field. The teacher answers my questions right away when I email him.

Really good class. Term paper at the end was very difficult and worth too much of the grade (30%)). I would recommend Professor Lemons, however. He is awesome.

I enjoy the material of the class but its a little difficult when it comes to the assignments, questioning of quizzes and when I ask for certain info to be submitted where its a "blah" answer

Dr Lemon was real cool. He explained everything very clear, accept late homeworks, he gives points for attendance. If you miss the class, he also has video on blackboard for each chapter. I learned real cool things and enjoy it very much.

I took Drugs and Society online with him. The class required a lot of use of the text book since the quizzes and tests obviously come directly from that. He offers a lot of extra credit at the end of the semester, which is great. Only two projects were required in the class and were not extremely difficult to complete. Interesting class.

This class is so easy its boring. Kids who are in this class think that because they have taken drugs they know everything which makes the class increasingly annoying. But as long as you have the textbook, which is necessary for homework, you should do fine on the tests and he posts practice tests on BlackBoard.

Dr Lemons is great. I highly recommend him. I took Drugs in Society...Homework required a lot of textbook reading but the homework is easy. The quizzes come mostly from the homework and you can re-take the quizzes until you get a grade you want to keep. Tests come from the quizzes. So do all three and you'll likely get an A. Slack off, get a C

I always try to get an A in every class I take. He is a lot of homework and the tests are all multiple choice questions which are hard to get all correct regardless of studying materials. I would only recommend if you have an easy class load and expect to spend a lot of time doing all materials for this class.

Dr. Lemons is one of the more intelligent and funny professors I've had in a while. He fought hard to get this class at SCC and he does a great job with the material. Plenty of homework, but if you do it the tests are pretty easy. Show up, do the work and enjoy!

Dr. Lemons is an AWESOME teacher. Of course, having an interest in the material helps, but he takes alot of time to explain things and discuss it with the class. There is ALOT of homework out of the book so be prepared but the tests are easy. He had a student in our class that was a total tool and Dr. L kind of targeted him.don't be that person.ha

Mr. Lemons is a very good teacher. He will always answer any question you have and emails back promptly. His class is very well laid out, and if you do the homework and actually read the chapters it's a very interesting and easily passible class. He's a cool guy.
