Great professor, really wanted students to succeed. A little out of the ordinary teaching style, but you never met a prof. that put so much time into education. He is the only prof @ CU Den. who argued for the best learning environment for his students.

I found that even if i hated him in school and he was totally creepy, I did start using a lot of the networking techniques that he taught in class... they did come in very handy...

Nothing really relevant to say about Schornack at this point. He was certainly...well...different. It would be great, though, if other professors had his kind of dedication.

What a joke. Glad he ran away in the middle of the semester on felony charges. Had a great substitute teacher, Dr. Parthasthy (MP). Why do nice teachers like him only teach grad classes? Did not like Schornack, but loved MP.

Dr. Schornack either didn't entirely know what he was talking about, or had outdated ideas. His arrogance made it extremely difficult to concentrate on learning anything about marketing. His "award-winning" website? Ridiculously awful.

Schornack is only interested in his ego and not in the education of his students. If he spent more time teaching a subject and less time talking about who he knows - or thinks, the students would be better prepared to work as professional marketers. He's a blemish on CU-Denver's Business School.

This was a great class. The prof wants the students to do well by working hard. You WILL get a ton out of this class. The people that didn't didn't like his class are the ones that will work at McDonalds in the future. The ones who applied themselves will go far in life.

This class was one of the best classes i've taken. Putting together a marketing plan and working with a team truly did give me a taste of the business world. It's a shame certain professors (Stansifer) focus on projects that are merely tedious busywork.

He seems nuts but there is a method to his madness. Funny thing with his class is that its not so much what the text says, its what you learn in group dynamics in having to do a real world marketing plan and in how to excell in the board room.

He is ecentric and thinks too highly of himself. He should focus more on his students instead of using them as a networking opportunity. If you are interested in paying for a class where you do work for failing company . . . this is the class for you!

With a decade of 'Real World' experience, I can honestly say the man is only about half as smart as he thinks he is. Perhaps he's been in academia too long to remember the 'Real World'.

There is a difference between working hard and working intelligently. Schornack loves students to work hard. So much material is covered inadequately that becoming overwhelmed is a new certainty. The marketing plan was a good project though.
