Prof colvert is okay , he's extremely boring and he is kind of rude when you answer questions and it's not the answer he's looking for. He also does not give a's often. Although , I did take him for a writing emphasis class and we only wrote 2 papers so that was good.

I've had him for Intro and Ethics. This is my second semester and I can barely stand sitting in class. Nothing that goes well, for some reason he thinks we know what he is talking about. Goes on rants about thing completely irrelevant to topics. I would honestly avoid at all costs...Highest grade of all of his students, like 50 of them, was A-

Really not a good professor to teach Intro. He is very condescending and expects students to understand everything, and if they don't, he says that the only fix is to re-read the text from a different perspective. He also neglected to read my accommodations letter, which is not good at all.

He does not make sense. He gives us readings and never goes over them and helps us understand them. He already expects us to understand and be on his level. Hard grader, not helpful whatsoever. Goes on way too many rants that have nothing to do with anything. Terrible class.

Nice guy. Can be very dry but his subject is not very fun in general. Very helpful in office hours but during class you really have no idea what is going on. Gives long rants having nothing to do with the readings that were assigned. Very hard grader also.

The material in class is pretty challenging to understand. He expects a lot from his paper assignments. He actually expects a lot in general from his students, even though this class is only a gen ed and most of us aren't really interested in philosophy.

Love this man. He's absolutely hysterical. A+ for pure entertainment value. Very knowledgeable. But he is a pretty tough paper grader, and he can go on really long rants about the material we're reading. If you don't pay attention you won't understand the meaning of the readings at all.

Professor is obviously very passionate about subject matter and always willing to help out. However sometimes he talks over the heads of students. His classes are always full of stories and analogies but some of the stories fall short of helping describe subject matter because of how long winded they are. Good guy, rough professor.

Really good professor. He tends to use analogies that are so long and involved that you forget what point he is trying to make by the time he is done - and so does he, sometimes.Other than that, really, really good. Interesting readings, good paper topics, fair tests. Good guy. He relies on technology a lot. It's not really my thing, to be honest.

Colvert could be a good teacher if he wasn't so confusing all the time. And he is a really hard grader and thinks that students don't know how to write essays so he makes them rewrite them over again. He is nice, but I wouldn't take him again.

Great Guy. Go to reviews, try on papers and you'll get a B no problem. Don't try and you'll get a C at the lowest. Just go to class. He went to school with Barry Bonds too.
