Cool dude but terrible class. Unclear on what he wanted on the tests. Grade is based on a midterm and a final mainly. Grades his tests ridiculously hard and unreasonable. I dont reccommend him at all.

This prof is very intelligent and really loves current events. Gives our participation points and attending class is VERY important!! Only two tests (midterm and final) everyone on the tests comes from class because there is no text book. Explain as much as possible on exams and you will get a good grade.

HAHA. Funny man. If you take this course write down every single word he says. Work on your writing speed cause he talks fast. If your bad at memorizing don't take him! Also get ready for some tension because he encourages discussion and people get very mad at each others opinions. Other than that it's an interesting easy class.

BAHGAT IS THE MAN! He's so cute and funny and makes the class interesting. The class really isn't hard unless you make it. There are two tests, the midterm and the final so studying is a must but if you attend class and take good notes you'll be fine.

AVOID THIS PROF FOR SENIOR SYNTH!! the class is all lecture with no additional resources, other than articles that he published. He doest'n follow the syllabus at all, only has essay midterm and final, which he grades at an impossible standard. He randomly chooses 10-14 topic and has your "write as much as possible" soft spoken with a heavy accent

One word for this professor: AMAZING! At first I wanted to drop his class until but then I fell in love with the class almost instantly! He's a great teacher, you learn so much from him. His accent is comprehensible and adorable! He always throws in some jokes into his lectures. There are 2 test based on notes from class. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

This professor is impossible. His tests are ridiculous and he admittedly grades too hard. I got 99% A's in PLSC 111 and PLSC 250 but barely got a D in this class. When I emailed him about the stupidly low grade I recieved no response. When I tried to meet with him he wouldn't see me. Absolute nonsense.

i am a junior in high school and found him to be a great professor to start off with, i would take this class over again, very helpful, not biased in any subject, write everything you know on the midterm and final essays... and take your time on the essays also

World Politics with Bahgat I learned so much and switched my major to political science. He is great and he cracks the cutest jokes. He does not bias what he teaches which makes him a great professor. If you want a good grade right every single word that comes out of his mouth in your notes and memorize them for the test - ten essays, two tests.

Egyptian - accent but you eventually get used to it and understand him. Knows his material and is a nice, enjoyable teacher. Heres the catch- his tests are all essay and you will fail unless you write at least 2 full pages front and back. I thought i got an A on the midterm but i got a 62 so i was screwed... all my other grades were A's. NEVER TAKE

Dr. B is a real nice guy. Class can get a little slow but he always throws in some comedic relief. 2 essay tests so take good notes and you'll be fine. 10 point weekly assignment will help your grade. It's a real good intro to politics. Definitely recommend!

Dr B is a good teacher. Knowledgable, funny, and interested in the subject matter. The class is a mix of lecture and discussion. He only gives midterm and final so you might think you can skip but don't; you'll need the info. Overall, I liked this class and would gladly take another from him.
