She is really nice. She writes all the notes on the board. She gives you an example of every kind of problem that you will see in your homework. All you have to do is copy them. Then you can use them to do your homework. The quizzes and tests aren't that bad either.

It didnt matter how many times i emailed her she would not email me back she didnt give me credit for quizzes i took and reported me for non attendance after missing 3 classes, I was forced to drop her so glad this is her last year hopefully she doesnt teach anywhere else

Always knows what she's talking about. If you go to class, write down her notes, and do the quizes (which you get to do together, and with those notes) you'll end up with an A and out of class early everyday.

She is a great teacher. She makes sure you get a great amount of practice before tests, and she helps you out as much as possible. However, I don't know if its just because College Algebra is not my thing, but she seems a bit fast. You might want to sit on near the middle of the class so you can see all that she writes.

Math is my minor, and I thought this class was a breeze. If you attend class, pay attention and do your homework, you should be fine. She does plenty of examples and answer whatever questions you may have in class. Her test questions are like the homework questions, so if you do homework, you should get a very decent grade on her test.

I never been good at math before, no matter how hard I tried. Ellis was extremely good at breaking down problems and spelling it out so anyone could understand. She's very intelligent and really nice! I would recommend her to anyone, especially those who struggle with math. I would definitely take this teacher again.

I loved Ms. Ellis! She was so laid back and helpful and she gave us alot of bonus points. You should go to class everyday to pick up or turn in homework. We didn't have a textbook but just used an online program called Math XL. She is my favorite teacher so far!

If you understand math than take her otherwise go to community college. She does not explain things fully and her reviews are nothing like the test. If you are close to a higher letter grade she will raise you and she is willing to help you outside of math. But if you suck at math like I do you will be lost and left behind the rest of the class.

Mrs. Ellis is an awesome teacher. Most classes last 25 minutes, she gives a quiz for easy points after almost every class, it's an easy A. Just make sure to show up everyday and do the reviews. I highly recommend taking her.

AWESOME TEACHER! I HATED MATH UNTIL THIS CLASS! She makes everything very understandable. Do the homework, go get help from the lab and you WILL have an A. BEST MATH TEACHER EVERRR! Very EASY! She doesn't make you turn in homework. Has DAILY quizes that are open note. She lets us out early. And her tests are EASY! She teaches you the stuff you need to know and no "fluff." She's a dang good teacher. I loved her class.

I never did any homework, but probably should have, and got an A. She taught well and was willing to help if you asked for it. A very smart teacher that definitely knows what she is talking about. Quite a few in-class assignments/quizzes so I didn't miss often. Also gives some assignments for EC occasionally.
