You do group work every class period but its easy points. You work on projects covering real companies to put what you are learning into real-world knowledge. Homework is on paper and turned in during class not on the computer like other 302 courses. Show up to class and put in effort and you will do well.

For 302 she provides all the lecture notes and homework problems from the book that are to be turned in, so DON'T need the book!! She lectures VERY quickly so pay attention. Homework is handwritten, but she gives partial credit for effort.

Try to avoid her. She is very strict and does not understand that not everyone learns with her way. Believes her way is the best way and thus you dont learn the correct accounting ways always. She is harsh if you are a minute late to class. Does not realize that her testing habits create a tougher enviroment

Very very tough accounting class. Toughest I've taken. That being said, she really does a good job with her notes and examples to help you understand it. You get put into groups and do group assignments each class period to get easy attendance points. Tests are 70% written, with partial credit which can be good or bad. Lots of studying to do good.

Lecture consist of going through computation problems. She provides a note sheet for you to print out and follow along during class. Homework is graded on completion. Projects are graded easy. If you sit down and walk through and review the problems that were discussed in class each day and walk through Gleim book questions, the test are a breeze.

Super friendly teacher. Extremely intelligent. She teaches in a very fast manner that put me off at first, but I got use to it. She is like a pitbull in the classroom, but really approachable and nice in her office. If you like fast paced classes, I highly recommend her. If slower paced is your style, try Olsen.

Margavio is the best college professor I have ever had. I took her for 302 and 504. Her notes (combined with your own) are easy study tools that assist with learning in a hard class. Other ACC professors should take note on her teaching methods. Grade is mostly tests with some group/hmwk. Go to class and follow her notes, and you'll do good.

For me, she is the best accounting teacher I have ever met. She made the Acc 302 easy but interesting to study. You will be very clear about main point of each chapter. Very charming lady with pretty dress changing every day. I also took her Acc 504 too. Both of them are good.

Very, very, very good teacher. She is so energetic that time flies by. Don't expect an easy A though, this class is TOUGH! But, Dr. Margavio does her best to clarify the material. Accting isn't exciting, but its entertaining the way she teaches it. I liked her so much I am taking 504 with her, she is AWESOME! P.S. go to class to rack up group point

Very energetic and fun. One of the only ACC classes where time actually flies! However, because of the way she weights her points,group problems and homework don't add up to hardly anything to your final grade. Also, she changes alot of the problems in the book for homework, so u really need to go to class everyday!

She is one of the best ACC teachers I have had so far. Very clear with her lectures, and makes the topics easy to understand. You need to be in class to understand what's going on since the class itself is intended to be difficult, but she gives a lot of points for in class work and projects that really help out your grade. Best Accounting Professor I've ever had! She made difficult subjects seem easy. Go to class and write down all the examples she provides and studying for the exams will be a cinch. She also gives lots of homework and class participation points, so its easy to score a good grade.
