Comment:

Dr. Haas is a nice man, who is always welcoming towards students. He is best on one-on-one meetings during his office hour. Generally as a instructor, he is boring and lacks depth. His tests are easy, but he is very specific in what he is looking for.

He's a very hard marker except on the easy stuff like the bible journal entries. You get marked on attendance. Last year he marked attendance 10 different random times so if you dont come to class that day, at least get a friend to sign your name for you. Exams were hard, Study really hard on those. Big project, he marked hard on.

Maybe a nice person, but classes are really dry, very hard on the marking especially for non-religion majors that simply need to take the course, and has strict set of theology, inconsiderate towards other denominations.

Prof. Haas is a *always* available for help outside of class and his office door is always open. He is knowledgeable about theology and regularly updates his classes to remain current. He expect you to work hard, but his grading is fair. He will respect and reward hard, clear, well-argued work even if he doesn't agree with its conclusions. Take him

Took a core class with him and probably will not take another. He knows his stuff, but if you don't agree with his views good luck in the class. The class is on Reformed Theology, not Haas views. Boring prof, but very knowledgeable. However, he has a tendency of not answering questions by responding in circles. Catechism kids are set in this class.

fantastic course. i had to think hard about what i believe and why i believe it. prof. haas allowed open and honest discussion. his lectures were real clear and well organized. probably my favourite course taken at redeemer. thanks professor haas!
