Hands down one of the best professors I have ever had in my entire life. He is easy going, fun; and more importantly, he cares about his students too much that he likes to hear feed backs from you. Take him, you won't regret!

Lamke is LITERALLY the best professor I've ever had. His class is so fun and he always provides snacks for his students and wants them to participate. Highly recommend taking it with him!!!!! Easy exams, one final paper, and 2 sets of cultural experience papers. LOVE YOU LAMKE

This class has got to be the easiest class at SDSU. There are only two tests which are ridiculously easy as long as you study for an hour or two. There is an essay and ten write ups. He is a super easy grader and there is no way that you will get less than an A in this class.

Lamke is one of the best in SDSU. All of the comments about him are true. Definitely take him!!! Don't believe him on the first day when he says that this class is not an easy A, he is just trying to scare you away. Lamke is the man!... 5 vocab quizzes (drops 1), 4 letters, 1 research paper, notebook assignments, and a portfolio... EASY!

Wow, it is interesting how much more you apply yourself and learn when you know the professor cares. Some call his class useless. I not only consider it useful for the material learned, but also for the life lessons i can apply from his kindness and general caring. A very intelligent man that doesnt need ridiculous tests or assignments to prove it.

I had 60 units left to graduate, according to admissions in March, I cried. Gene Lamke's helped me petition SDSU to accept my credits from Linfield College, Oregon. He compared my course descritpion to what SDSU requires, G. Lamke signed them off, processed the paperwork, I graduated in May. 60 units, gone!!!

He is a great professor, very passionate and knowledgeable. If you have a problem just let him know because he will work with you, I skipped an assignment and he e-mailed me over holiday to see if it was a mistake. So he gave me an incomplete instead of a low grade so I could finish it. I recommend him for any class.

Lots of small things-journals, comm. service project, small group/note quizes. 5 tests(T/F,mult choice)-easy if you study, no final. If over 1/2 the class misses the same problem on a test, he gives everyone a point. Very enthusiastic old man. Fair grader. Overal, the class was a bit of a joke for me. Easily got an A.

as a rec major I have had Gene 3 or 4 times, and he is awesome. His 101 is very easy but his other classes are very demanding and time consuming. He will rember your name and ask how you are doing. He is very energetic and fun to watch teach. He is a nice guy.

Class is a joke, but it is not intended to be hard. The material can be interesting, and the teacher is very fair and helpful. His first order of priority for the semsester was to cancel all Friday classes and have them online only. HAHA!
