This is the worst professor I have ever had, I do not recommend anyone to take her class unless you want a challenge and make a failing grade. Her grading is extremely unfair. She gave me the same grade on every paper. Do not take her!

Bottom line, by far the worst professor I have EVER had. I don't advise anyone to take her, she just needs to stop teaching. She doesn't know what she's talking about, she is SO rude, unfair at grading everything.

Her class ha AWFUL. Her grading is unfair, she's rude, makes everyone feel stupid , her lectures are long and she doesn't explain anything well, I have never had a worse professor. I do not recommend taking her at all.

Overall a nice person. Desires to help you become a better writer. Grading is a little strict as she wants precise details to be used as support. Attendance is taken every day. Few readings are assigned in the textbook, and some in class discussions. I consider myself a bad writer but still managed to make an A. Porfolio instead of final exam.

Horrible. Tried my best to please her. She's rude. She took off ten points for coming into class 2 minutes late, even though i turned in my paper with everyone else. For extra credit she said i could rewrite a paper. I rewrote the paper, fixing all of HER corrections and she didn't accept it. Only C I've ever received in English; I'm an A student.

Being an English major, i took this class feeling more than confident. Needless to say, I have never failed an English paper until now. Comley is really hard on how she grades your paper(s). She is really nice, but if you are expecting an easy grade, I do not recommend.

I am not the best writer so I would meet with in her in conferences to try to get a better grade. She was really nice and helpful and I would take her advice when I wrote my paper but when I would get it back, I would get a bad grade on them. She is a very picker grader, so unless you are a excellent writer, I would not recommend taking her.

Comment:

Greavu-Comley is a really hard professor. The way she grades essays are unfair. I had to miss her class one day because my cousin was hospitalized and i couldn't turn the hard copy of my essay essay in. She didn't care about my excuse and took 10 points off my essay, which made me fail! Try not to take her.

Mrs. greavu-Comley is the hardest english teacher I have ever had. She is really picky on your essays, but this is the first time I actually learned how to write a good paper. You have to work hard in her class to get a B average and above, but if u want an easy grade I wouldn't take her.

She grades extreemly unfair, she has a very monotone voice and it's really hard to pay attention when she just standes at the podium all class and talks and then assigns you a paper you think will be easy and you get it back and fail it for the stupidest reasons.

Very nice lady! Will help you as much as you need her to! I got an A in her class, but not without a good amount of effort. She helped me become a better essay writer! Many essays throughout the semester, so plenty of room to make up bad grades!

I'm an extremely nice person, but all I can say about her class is that it was horrible. It was one of the most boring I've ever taken, she made it almost impossible to even make a B on a paper, and she isn't clear as to what she wants from you/when things are due. Not a fun experience.

I took her for 1102 and she was a great teacher. More than willing to help you outside of class but you have to ASK for help. She does grade harshly on papers and it is hard to make an A in her class. If you want an easy teacher don't take her but if you actually want to learn, take this teacher.
