Yeah, not the greatest, I barely passed, must be able to put in more hours than sane if you do not know Spanish already. introduced as an intermediate class but is very advanced!!

While his class is often boring or uninteresting, pay attention and you will walk away having learned much. Wentworth is not the best professor I've had but neither is he anywhere near the worst. Lot's of class participation and only a little homework. Don't be too turned off by his age or gruff manner. He is patient and wants you to succeed.

Really nice guy and genuinely cares about his students. I didn't like him at first but he tends to grow on you. His class is a little boring and it'd be easy to fake your way through but if you do at least some of the work you can come away learning something.

Pros: genuinely nice and caring person. Patient with those who struggle with Spanish. Easy to get A's, and has lots of easy assignments to complete. Lots of class participation if you like that Cons: sooo boring, not a great morning class. Don't learn anything in class you couldn't get from the book, really.

Mediocre professor. He is nice and has easy tests, but his class isn't the greatest to get you started in the morning. His classes focus on no aspects of Spanish besides grammar and vocab and he just recites whatever is on the overhead. If you want to do good in the class, just make him chuckle during oral presentations and remember the environment

Nice guy, but really ought to think about retiring. Syllabus was useless, and he reads off of the overhead projector a lot. He has really different ideas about pronunciation than I've ever heard. Hypes class participation, so pay close attention, you will be called on.

He seems like a nice guy but honestly he needs to retire. He's in his 60s and he had a stroke and he's virtually incoherent in class. He sometimes forgets how to speak Spanish. avoid him for intermediate Spanish because you will learn nothing.

He's a great guy. I agree that people should give him more respect. Yes he can be boring at times, but which teacher is not at least to some degree? He makes class easy enough. If you don't learn it's because you don't want to. I wish we had more teachers like him...I could respect this place a little more.

Dr. Wentworth is perfect for the 101 class. He helps us learn the language. I don't understand how he does not get more respect on campus. He loves this school and the students. He will teach you everything he knows. It is a lot like high school Spanish.
