Probably one of the kindest, most hilarious, and genuine professors I ever had at JMU. He's lived an amazing life and is so passionate about what he does. I was an accounting/CIS major and I loved it... that should say enough! :)

i barely went to class, and when i actually did go, i was only there for half the time and I still got an A in his class. he reads everything to you, takes attendance at the end of class but i don't think it affects your grade, gets off topic a lot, and is a little ****, even though he loves women. didn't learn much, but take him!

An 87 year old British guy who has been through it all. I would recommend this class to anyone just because of his amazing stories and his enthusiasm about the poetry he reads. TAKE THIS CLASS!

boring!!! ah! yes, he's funny and he talks about sex alot. but he reads through all of the poetry or whatever and you just want to die. bring something to do in the class. the two papers end up being 10 pages each.

This is one straight shooting Brit. At 86 years old his done enough living for 10 different lives...hes led 1 Amazing life. He reads everything out loud in class. No HW reading. He gets side tracked everyday and goes on hilarious non-pc schpeels. TAKE HIM!!!
