Comment:
Greene is a human computer. He makes silly errors with language from time to time, and he "uhhhh" has "uhhhh" a habit of saying "uhhh" when trying to process complex problems. However, he is incredibly motivated to help you develop an understanding of tough material. Be sure to read the book before his lectures though. Otherwise you'll be lost.

Comment:
Dr. Greene is really great. His class is easy for a 400-level course. Very reasonable homework, no attendance policy, & 2 exams. Keep up with the material and you can at least make a B.

Comment:
Was a decent prof, however, was very easily distracted during lectures. Says "Um" alot which can be annoying. Moderate effort will get you a B. Labs are an easy A if your TA is not a tightwad. Homework is an easy A if you know how to use Google. Tests require synthesis of knowledge, not discussion of knowledge taught in class.

Comment:
His notes can be confusing. You have to read the book to help get an understanding of the topics. Can't use calculator on tests. Best to try to get a hold of his old tests to help study for the tests. He does curve on the grades.

homework is found other places online, google part of question. labs are easy. tests are impossible, but incredible curves. 18/80 was passing on first test. all proofs, if your going into engineering, take him.

Comment:
Hard tests to go along with the material. His teaching is not as good as the other teacher (he subed one day), Handler, but his grading and tests are much easier from what I hear. Do decently on the tests and you will easily get a B in the class. 40% of the grade should end up an A through lab and online homework.

This class was not hard, but not easy. The tests allowed for many mistakes and you would still get a C, but getting an A was hard. His weird grading scale kinda made sense.

The tests are non-numeric, and proof-like. However, the scale can be helpful. (Ex: 39% was an A on the last test)

Tests were all symbolic, 'say you have capacitance= C1 and Inductance= I, what would be the current on Resistor R2', it gets old when you have to go through proofs on the tests
