Took Prof. Ulary for FYS, topic was sex so it was sorta interesting. Overall shes enjoyable and clear. Not the easiest grader, but its not difficult to do well. Assigns long readings, but sorta knows nobody reads it in full.

TAKE PROFESSOR ULARY!!! She is BY FAR one of the best professors on campus. She is so sweet and so passionate about what she teaches and really cares about her students. As a freshman she really helped me out and transition through the first semester in not only her class, but my others too. She is always there to help and is overall a great prof!

Comment below sums it up. Do not take Ulary. Her grading is ridiculous, she grades not based on material but on how other people have answered the question; shes crazy. Everyone gets C's or if your'e lucky a B. Plain and simple, for a core class she sucks because nobody wants to take Ethics yet she grades it like we actually want to be there.

Very nice lady. Exams consist of 4 short essays, which she grades somewhat hard. 2 papers which were easy. Have to do the readings, but she tries to make it interesting and is always willing to help.

"touchy feely" professor, puts desks in circle and demands comments every class, otherwise your grade drops. Tests hard and infrequent. 1 paper at end of semester. Really nice and picks good readings, but lets her politics influence her arguments and is too allowing of student opinions that are patently wrong.
