It takes time to get used to Dr. Baldwin but he truly cares about students. His lectures are very informative and you will gain a ton of knowledge if you take one of his classes. If youre looking for an easy class to take then his classes arent for you. His classes are tough but you can get a good grade if you show some effort & attend lectures.

I have him in Social Deviance/Social Theory and i must say at first it takes a little time to adjust to his personality but the man is awesome! He has really interesting lectures and stories that tie into the lecture, make sure you take notes as this will help you on your exams! You will do fine!! I like how knowledgeable he is!

How is he a professor? This is his 2nd semester teaching SBS 328 and it is still disorganized. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!! His assignments are not clear. I heard his other classes are disorganized too. He gets off topic a lot.

Does not take role but has in class labs which are graded. Lots of extra credit opportunities, is a tough grader, if you have the opportunity for an edit on a paper do it.

His classes are always eventful. He is always open to help you with whatever you need, but you have to ask him. He always has fun stories and he makes lecture fun because of that. He is a teacher that does not just give boring information, he actually makes the lecture fun!

This professor is the worst! Always going off on tangents. He doesn't even put his full lectures in a power-point! I honestly have never met a more disorganized and awful professor in my life!!! Seriously, do not take this course! He also claims that he created the internet but can't even use it. DO NOT TAKE

Lectures are a bit long, but you learn alot. Instructions for assignments are sometimes not clear. There's extra credit for almost all tests, with the exception of one.

George Baldwin is a bad professor. He has very outrageous and offensive opinions and does not mind making people feel uncomfortable. His self defense class is complete BS and his SBS 300 class is based off of all opinion.

Dr. Baldwin is one probably the most interesting out of all SBS professors. His lectures are always interesting no matter what, even though he might get side tracked and go off into his own life experiences. That whats makes a good professor though right, where they been and what they've done. Grading wise he isn't the fastest but he is clear

Dr. Baldwin can take some getting used to. He Does not respond to emails from students, approach him after class or during his office hours about questions or issues. His lectures are interesting and never dull. Take good lecture notes and annotations from the assigned readings. Write the 2 papers exactly the way he wants them and you'll be fine.

Awful experience. He is very unclear about assignments. Multiple times in the course he lost our assignments or didn't give us back our tests timely. He shared personal information to the point a large portion of the class was uncomfortable. At one point he refereed to his partner dying of cancer as a "burden". Avoid this professor.

Baldwin was great. Stands by his ideas 100%. Many students couldn't handle his harsh brand of wisdom or his B/S at times. To bad for them. He's also a great PHI LAMBDA CHI

This guy is the reason i changed my major TO sociology. Hes dope as hell if you go in and actually participate even a little and are not mentally incapacitated you WILL get an A. At times yes he's harsh during training, but its because most people dont understand how fights are. Fighting is life and death. He's out for your best interests.

This teacher is the reason why I did not pass the pro-seminar class even though Mendoza was the actual teacher for that class. Baldwin just happens to hang out during his class and told the sociology students that their papers should be graded by him only and not Mendoza. My final paper was graded really late (after finals) and got an incomplete.

Extremely rude, arrogant, self-absorbed; condescending to student when questions are asked;makes stupid jokes & laughs at them himself; at least a student can follow the syllabus & learn in spite of his terrible teaching style; took one class 'cause I needed it for my major; don't make the mistake of taking his class-there's better classes to take

Find another advisor. I would suggest getting a signature on any agreement and leave the office door open during one-on-one meetings.

I had Mr. Baldwin for Crime lab. If you show up and try then you will pass. If you show up and do not even try you WILL fail. His classes were fun and I really learned alot about self defense. He also tells randomn interesting stories. If you want a good workout take crime lab.
