Despite what many have claimed about him being "a fountain of knowledge", to anyone with a prior knowledge of intricacies in history would know that he's full of hot air, a good storyteller indeed but his stories are complete fabrications more often than not, with no basis in historical fact. His class was a breeze, but he needs to retire.

Extremely knowledgable about history. Very smart but unorganized. A great story teller and will often break of topic which will lose some people. Test are easy and you have to try to fail them. Over all a great professor if your interested in philosophy or history.

The most boring teacher I've ever had, he's too old to teach in an organized fashion. No doubt he knows his subject, but his lectures go off on tangents and he depends on movies to do a lot of his teaching. His tests are too hard and his assignments aren't interesting.

Dr. Cole is amazing. He is a fountain of knowledge-it's amazing how much he knows. Unfortunately, his lectures are unclear. He strays off the subject quite a bit. He makes up for that by telling you the essay questions in advance.I got more out of the class by simply reading and the movies he shows.

George is an interesting guy. Most Bay teachers do a good job despite having lots of aimless loser students in their classes. The ones who complain on this board are the ones who don't take responsibility for their own education. Most will drop out and end up as Wal-Mart greeters.

His tests may be able to get up to 70 POINTS Not 80-90. However, you need to be a capable student who reads the chapters and completes the very thick study guide inorder to get all those points. I would recommend him for anyone. He is so action packed with details of the past it is unreal! GO COLE!!

I'm not good in Western Civ at all, in fact I failed it before, but in his class I receieved about 1,050 points out of 900! Very easy to get an A... but he's also interesting and a very nice teacther! :)

Dr. Cole is wonderful teacher. I have never encountered someone like ever before. He truely holds an unimaginable amount of knowledge. His teaching style isn't like most others. In order to do well and learn well, you must open you mind.
