Mr. Howard is the definition of a 'nice guy'. He makes things harder than they need to be, the class is easy and his practice tests are basically exactly like the actual exams! So you always know what to expect. Will help you if you want it. Kinda boring, but a good educator!

Very pedantic. Even if you have answers correct on exams he will mark you all the way down to an 80 if he finds things that aren't "right". Also likes to answer questions with "if you're not comfortable with this material you should go back to the last math class." Not a huge fan honestly, but he was nice at least.

Mr. Howard is the BEST teacher EVER!!! He is so helpful even though I am really dumb. He smiles all the time and is very excited about teaching. I sit in the front row and ask a lot of questions. He always answers everything thoroughly!

He is a horrible teacher. He has his favorite students who suck up. He makes people feel dumb for asking questions in class. His grading on the tests is absolutely insane. Do not take his class unless you have no other choice. The CD from the book was more helpful than going to class.

Awesome guy. He grades quite picky, but he is always available for help before and after class. He gets straight to the point, never lets you out a minute early, and there is homework everyday. Homework doesn't count towards your grade; however, he does give you bonus points for your quizes! good guy!

Mr. Howard was probaly one of the best math teachers that i have ever had. He is always willing to help you if you dont understand. I never understood math until his class. Now i am in 116 and it feels like a breeze.

really boring to listen to but he is very helpful. he knows his stuff and is willing to help if you have any questions. the quizzes (not graded) let you know exactly what's going to be on the test. if you look stuff over and make sure you understand, it's not hard at all..he's a good teacher, he just grades too picky. i got an A so it wasn't that b

He honestly is one of the worst teachers I have had at Ferris. Over half of my class failed, including myself. He's boring, monotone, doesn't smile, and I believe... a little sinister. I was never bad at math until this class.

I'll give him that he knows his stuff. Worst Prof. every for relating to students. I got all the answers right on a test and he still gave me an 83% because it wasn't "just right." I don't know about you, but math is either right or wrong, so how do you get 100% of the questions right and walk out with an 83% instead? He is so picky it is insane.

Good teacher. Don't take his class first thing in the morning if you have a tendency to fall asleep, because he isn't the most exciting, but he knows his stuff and does his best to make sure you know it too. Don't expect him to ever learn your name... he's not very personable, but he knows a ton about math and makes things easy to understand.
