Dr. Diamond is a great teacher and a great man. What a sense of humor! If he doesn't make you laugh out loud then you just don't get his sense of humor. Enjoyed his class very much. Could spend hours over some pitchers of beer listening to his stories!

Professor Diamond is one of the last in a great line of professors that can inform, entertain, and weed out the morons in the same sentence. This man is a genius in his ability to target those who think they can skate through a lit class because it's not physics. He is a classic and will be missed if he ever decides to leave.

Took this as a summer class...it was a lot of work. His classes are a little dry, he lectures for 3 hours and there is little class interaction. Lots of paper and essay exams. But he is helpful if you ask for help and a fair grader.

I love this man. He is quirky and funny, and some people just don't get that kind of humor. Though he often gives the same comments on papers, esp. in 221, he really knows his stuff and he loves teaching and students. Many student-led classes.

I felt like he randomly graded papers and made the same comments no matter what I wrote. He is sweet, and you can tell which courses he likes teaching. I liked his contemp. lit class but the english language was AWFUL. Is this still offered?
