Comment:

Professor Jones is a great professor who truly does care for his students, however, unless you have a lot of spare time and are willing to dedicate a large amount of time on his class you will not pass easily. Exams tend to be over 20 pages and there are 3 in the semester. Also the homework is very long and time consuming.

This man is AMAZING. By far the absolute BEST professor I have ever had. He is so inspirational and really pushes you to be your best. He cares about you as a person and as a student. Don't get me wrong, his classes are HARD, but if you put in the time and effort and ask him for help, you are guaranteed to pass and learn so many great things!

Hardest class I have ever taken. Doesn't ever go over handouts and his lectures are extremely hard to follow. Exams and quizzes are torture as well.

Exams are torture. They are usually around 10 pages long. An economics class shouldn't be this frustrating. Probably a good idea to take this class at an different school

Professor Jones is one of my favorite professors! He may get a bad rep by some, but he is a very reasonable guy. If you take the time to get to know him he looks at you more as a friend than a student. He is loud and hilarious during lectures- unlike any other professor out there. His classes are hard work, but it is very possible to get an A.

I see a lot of people have difficulty, and he even gave a lecture on the first day about it being a difficult class, but I found it easy. There is a decent amount of homework, but the content isn't difficult. Perhaps I found economics easy. I didn't do any of the reading assigned and still did alright.

The man himself is an interesting and kind person, but his teaching isn't the best. This was the hardest class I have ever taken. Eco 204 is a 3 credit class but with the course work and material being as strenuous as it was, it should be a 5 credit class. He barely goes over any of the hundreds of handouts he gives out. Probably best to avoid..

One of the best teachers at Urock!! Professor Jones made me excited to come to class and learn about econ. His tests are hard but if you put in the time you will definitely succeed!! He inspires everyone that takes his class!!! Its great to see someone have such great passion about what they do!!!!

Dr. Jones is by far the best professor I've had since returning to school. His courses are very challenging, and do require you to put in a lot of work and to think. You are required not only to be able to retain and regurgitate, but you must also fully understand what you have learned.

Lecture method is somewhere between "exorcism" and "scared straight". Someone's going to cry. Test questions were vague, I thought, and open to misinterpretation. This is unfortunate because the majority of the questions require written responses. Avoid unless you really love econ and mountains of hand-out materials.

Dr. Jones is the kind of teacher you will never forget. Passionate, caring, interesting, and entertaining. Get to know him and he will be your biggest supporter. Material is difficult at times but is easier if you read the chapter ahead of time. Only 3 tests per semester so they cover a lot, do the homework & extra credit for more pts!

Hardest professor I've ever had. He is a super nice guy but the exams are miserable. He doesn't teach half of the stuff on the exam and each exam takes between 4 and 5 hours. These are 200 level 3 credit courses at a 2 year university the exams are way too hard. He is an extremely intelligent guy but not the best professor.

Jones teaches you in such a way that "HOW ARE YOU GOING TO FORGET THIS!?" Very entertaining once you learn not to be scared of him. You study a ton and learn a lot. This is like a 4 credit course!
