George's passion is very evident in his lectures. If you have a positive mentality and are willing to put in the effort, you will get an invaluable learning experience. He is a genuine person that wants to see his students succeed; he once requested to contact me by phone to discuss a late assignment due to illness and was extremely understanding!

One you take the time to understand what he is trying to explain, and see how he structured the class. You begin to appreciate the architecture education you are receiving. He keeps classes fun, understands our tough course load, and takes time out of his schedule to help us. He is an intelligent, knowledgeable and dedicated prof.

Best studio prof. I had in the 4 years at Ryerson. He really cares that you do well, and is very approachable. He also helps you if you need help/ are stuck. If you work hard, you will do well (he wants everyone to do well). One of my fave profs! Will definitely remember him after graduating!

I honestly loved the way he taught. Organized, on point, with some fun breaks. Tons of content to digest. The projects forced us to get out of the classroom and broaden our experience, which I enjoyed. Sure there was a ton of reading, but at least it was interesting and varied. A good primer for theory.

George is the best! I've had him in first year studio, third year theory, and now work as his research assistant and he's awesome. He'll bend over backwards to help you if you're honest and hardworking. If he thinks you're rude and lazy though, look out!
