Comment:

The goal is to create some kind of app (we did Alexa skills) as a group, but Prof. Ledin doesn't actually teach anything. He sits in his chair, speaks very quietly, and stares at you. Class consists of group presentations on project progress, and popcorn reading a bunch of useless articles. That's it. No tests. 1 quiz. Complete waste of time.

Does not even count as a real class or a real teacher. Taught barely anything at all, just a few scrum concepts. Mumbles about some random topics, tells a few jokes, then ends class an hour early. Entire class is a group project building an app. Few "pop" quizzes that are about scrum and another book. Show up, take quizzes, and get an A. Worthless

No clear grading criteria. The whole semester, we had absolutely no idea what we were supposed to be working on. His assignments are unclear, and every lecture he stands in front of the class and inaudibly mumbles for around 2 hours. I've heard he's better at teaching security & malware, but I would not recommend taking him for CS 370.

Super smart guy!! almost too smart to understand... didn't do a very good job explaining the topics and didn't explain how to get from point A to point B. however, he does tell you what you need to know for the tests. if you show up to class and study the material you'll get a decent grade

Comment:

Discrete Mathematics is a difficult subject to teach for anyone to teach. The subject does not build on itself, so comprehension is hard for students, but Ledin makes it clear what he wants you to know in class, if you take notes and study what he tells you, then you will do fine. I thought I was getting a C, and ended up with a B+!
