He is a smart man, but is bad at teaching. He has a web site with tons of information but its not organized, the student has to do it. What he teaches and what's on the test are not closely related. You really need to study, I did, but only got a B. I do not recommend him.

It's good to have the notes prepared before class which you can get from his website. He is really confusing and you really need to study for this class! It's not that hard if you study, and the papers are pretty easy if you directly follow the outline. Bad sense of humor, says things that don't make sense, or are untrue. He is always right.

worst, is very rude. called a student retarded during class. i answered a question straight from the book word for word once and he told me it was wrong. i studied and went to every class and got the lowest grade i ever got in college. DONT TAKE HIM. a lot of people from my class went and complained and the dean even said he's bad.

From every other comment, you'd think he's a bad guy, he's really not. His lectures might be dry, and he goes fast on his slides, but all his notes are on the webpage. Every class I walk out knowing what we discussed without reading the book. DONT JUDGE HIM BY OTHERS COMMENTS! He's not that bad! I took him twice :)

Doesn't seem to have any respect for students, berates you if you ask a "stupid" question or give an incorrect answer, puts down entire groups of people (ie women). Reading the text doesn't seem to help much. Mumbles a lot. Tests are all over the place. I'm doing well in the class but only because his coursework overlaps another course I'm taking.
