She is a very nice professor and I am def. taking her again. Talks very quietly sometimes, try to sit toward the front. No care for attendance but if you don't come to class you may not pass. Her lectures are interesting because she has a lot of stories which makes the content memorable. Tests aren't that hard if you pay attention in class.

Comment:

Dr. Kelly is a sweetheart! She's a very kind woman and her lectures are rather interesting. The only negatives I have is that she talks slowly and quietly, so you get bored rather easily. Also, the only grades she has in the class are the three exams we take, which are difficult. She does give extra credit essays, though!

Comment:

Dr. Kelly's abnormal psych class has been the best psych class I ever took! She has story after story to tell to help you learn about mental illness - it's a highly engaging course! TAKE IT! She's very soft spoken so sit closely, Internet/technology is not her thing so have grace for her there. She also loves animals and promotes adoption!

Dr. Kelly is the sweetest woman ever, I loved taking this class with her. Make sure to sit in the front of the class because she has a very soft voice. She gives out a TON of extra credit, which helps as her tests can be difficult. She is always available to help, overall an enjoyable class.

I took creative psychology with Kelly this summer and it was one of the best courses I have had the privilege of taking here at Millersville. It's a non-academic course, your grade derives mainly from your participation. We grew together to be so close as a class. A lot of creative projects that teach you about yourself. You'll love it & love her.

If you don't take Dr. Kelly you're missing out. She is the SWEETEST woman in the world. She has the best stories about her lifetime of clients. She gives tons of extra credit. She's soft-spoken, so sit in the front. Abnormal exams can be a bit confusing because the DSM just is terrible, but she curves if the majority of the class got it wrong.

Dr. Kelly is great if you are paying to learn about stray animals that need adopted. While she might know a lot about clinical disorders, she knows nothing about integrity and seems to choose a scapegoat in each class. Good luck!

Pleasant, understanding and lenient. Class is 4 tests, but exempt from last if you have an A. Tests are multiple choice, some tricky questions but all info for tests is given in class. She gives several xtra credit opportunities and grades on a curve. Attendance is not taken but you have to know material discussed in class in order to pass tests.

Dr. Kelly is an AMAZING professor. Her stories help so much to understand the disorders, and are so great I even tell them to ppl outside the class. 4 tests, but they're hard. sometimes a few Q's were things we didn't even learn in class. but she curves the grades afterward accordingly. extremely understanding prof, i will miss her. speaks softly.
