Excellent prof, it's obvious he enjoys teaching and I loved the way he incorporates his passion into his teaching without drifting off the point. I loved his teaching style, it encouraged us to think rather than simply memorize and regurgitate. It's really too bad he isn't teaching anymore, it is because if him that I decided to stay in genetics.

Amazing professor. Manages to coalesce his political message into the topic of microbial genetics. Loved every minute of it. Very easy to understand and very comprehensive. Take this class if you are in the biology program!!!!

Definitely a very interesting class, due to his unique lecturing style. Always asks, "Do you understand," after each topic to ensure if everyone gets the material. Very fair marking by the prof and TAs as well as good testing.
