First impressions, when it comes to this man, are deceiving. Going into my fourth year in English studies, he's the best prof I've had. He's interesting and so intelligent and passionate. And unlike many English profs, seems to be well rounded, the kind of guy you could see talking about things besides literature, which is very refreshing.

Calder is a great guy, marks quite fair on his essays and assignments, never boring in his discussion, and he wrote a book on the Roughriders. Anyone would get somthing from taking one of his classes.
