I had George when I majored in Public Administration from 1981-1985. He made it interesting, and his classes were fun. Didn't hurt that he was very liberal and didn't talk down to you!

Horrible class but required to take it. He never teaches. We are in class for 20 min and then we leave. Read the book (easy) and you do good. He does not teach and when he does he makes the stuff more confusing.

A very good professor,you get out nearly every class. u will also ge out some friday classes when h decides to playg golf. overally a good professor, not much work for american govt but his tests r all essay based, if u dont like that then it could be difficult

A really nice guy! Makes jokes in class, lets you out very early every time and is willing to explain things and answer questions in class. His main teaching style is lecture so get ready to write/type A LOT. Hardly any homework and 3-4 tests during the semester which are made up of 5 vocab terms and 2 long essays. I liked him, but not the subject.

Dr. Taylor is a a great professor. He really knows what he is talking about and is great at conveying it to the class and fast! This class isn't too bad as long as you attend classes, take notes, and read the chapters. Also, put a lot of work into your final research paper.

Straight forward. Knows what he is looking for in papers. Doesn't take BS from students. Funny guy, intimidating at first but he's really cool. Seems to like upperclassmen better than underclassmen. If you think differently he will like you even better. Take if you can!

Dr. Taylor is great. Classes are short, tests are straight-forward and if you ask for help, he's more than willing to give it to you. He is a GREAT resource on campus. More than happy to help you with internships and all that jazz. Plus, he's a really nice guy. Just ask for help on your final paper and you'll get a good grade.

Knows what he wants to cover and does it fast. Ask questions if you are any bit unsure. He simply cannot read the final paper you do so nail the presentation and make it look ok and your grade will probably turn out in the B range. Write more than you think you need to on his tests. Not the worst prof but do not expect to be prepped for grad school

I hated this class. Dr. Taylor put little effort into his teaching, and we had to do a lot of work outside of class to make up for it. We rarely had assignments, and he didn't ever give back the 2-3 we turned in. He never gives feedback on anything.

When I went to grad school I learned that poly sci has a methodological and quantitative aspect to it. I never learned this in Taylor's class. He'd rather play golf than teach - it was great not having class a lot, but if you really want to learn and be inspired, you might want to try someone else

Nice guy, and very smart. He will help you as much as he can if you ask for help. Fair grader, straight forward tests. He never teaches the whole class time. I'm just about positive that he doesn't read the final paper in methods, so just be sure it looks good, and you decent presenting it.
