Dr. Hoth explains very well. He's very polite and funny. Although he clearly has ADD and tends to get off topic A LOT, his stories are pretty interesting. His tests are extremely difficult, but his curve is great. 55% is passing. For those that want an "A" take another teacher. For those that just want to pass, take Dr. Hoth.

Pros: Energetic, passionate, helpful. He brings alot of real world experience to the class and has a generous curve. Study and you'll pass, study hard and you could definitely get an A or a B. I would highly recommend him. only drawback is that if you don't pay close attention to each lecture you could get lost, but still...take him for sure.

The only way to learn is to teach yourself. All he does is tells stories. He will ramble for hours crap that does have anything to do about the subject. Form study groups, so that u can learn from each other. Don't lead him on by getting to tell more of his stories. He is real a lazy instructor.

BEST CURVE YOU WILL EVER EXPERIENCE!!! i think a 55% was passing. Does not give out C-'s unless your other option is a D+. He talks a lot and not about accounting but he is still nice. My second time taking this class and did well. Just do your homework.

Read book & do HW prior to class. Since all accounting classes are graded on a curve, only top 10% will get an A. U are competing w your classmates. Also, get study guide if u are weak. Or the Schaum outlines for Cost Accounting; great study guide! Poor class instruction, tell too many stories. So put in that extra effort to get a better grade!

Doesn't teach! He just starts writing.Make sure you copy everything he puts on the board. On the test, make sure you do the problems even if you don't know it just guess. You'll get a good amount of points for doing something. Problems on the test are most likely the ones he spent a lot of time on in class.

This was even easier than his 302 class. No need to ever read the book. Just understand the hw probs that he deos in class and you are fine. He tells you which ones will have to be worked out on the exam. The multiple choice portion of the exam is really hard and no need to study for it. He curves very generously. Drops lowest quiz. Way easy
