There was no point in going to his classes. All he did was sit up front and spout nonsense. He was also fond of telling offensive jokes and apparently believed every stereotype there is about people (because he is the mighty White American Male). Should not be teaching, especially not Sociology.

You could get good grades in Stott's class if you try. There are no papers, projects, or homework assignments - just tests. A word of advice though-the tests have NOTHING to do with the notes. They are just his opinions. Test questions come word-for-word out of the book, so just read the chapters.

Definetly the worst teacher i have ever had in my life. Sociology is interesting, but he will make you hate it. He is very rude and always found a way to make me feel like i was an idiot. I got a B in his class. Just read the book, its a much better teacher than he is.

I am a A student at SEMO. Made a D in this class. He was totally an ass. Told us that he didnt care about what the women and gays had to say, their voice didnt matter in our society. DO NOT TAKE HIM. His notes where on yellowed paper from 1970. Suck a jerk.

Worst professor in my three years here. He is totally unresponsive to students. My fifteen-page term paper was given a 77, but had no markings or comments on it, and he wouldn't comment on it when I took it to him. Also, he was 45 minutes late for the final, and NOBODY got an A out of 23 people.

This guy is horrible. A complete jerk. Told us the first day that he was smarter than any textbook and then only tested us on what the book said, nothing from lecture. I stopped going to class because I couldn't stand the sound of his voice!

Gerald was a horrible teacher!!! We had to write a huge paper for the class and then he decided not to bother grading them!!! He did not care one bit about his students. He said it was our fault that the averages on his tests were in the 50% range.
