Comment:

The class itself is not very difficult, but Professor Igyor is not the most accessible professor - he fails to stick to his own instructions and his feedback is oftentimes difficult to interpret and adds more work than it does help. Unreasonable expectations can make him seem like an unfair grader.

VERY unclear with what he wants with assignments and takes lots of points off if it is not exactly the way he wants it which he does not even tell you in the first place. Have a question about a grade or just anything in general? Good luck, its Igyors way or the highway. He will not take anything you say seriously and does not want you to succeed

Comment:

Igyor is a great guy -- outside of class. His class is VERY lecture heavy, and ONLY gives tests but they are all take home so, GOOGLE to the rescue. Attendance is absolutely mandatory, but if you're paying for the class why not show up? His accent is very hard to understand, and hindered the learning. Again, great guy, but will not take him again.

Dr. Igyor is strict and gives lectures in class 24/7 but as long as you give a half decent speech and he can tell you put effort into preparing for it he will give you a good grade

Class was insanely boring and Igyor just reads directly from the book. He goes out of his way to pick on shy students. Once the class clapped after someone's presentation and he told us not to clap because it was so bad. Tests are all online and answers are online too. Could've taught myself the class. Overall: Easy A but good luck staying awake!

I found Dr. Igyor to be genuine and pleasant with great integrity and character. I would have rated him higher than a 3 if he was more organized. Which he is not. So if you take him, be prepared for that. Otherwise do the work, put the time in and you will receive a good grade.

Igyors lecture is brutal to sit through. if you enjoy watching paint dry you will more than likely enjoy this lecture. Other than that he doesn't use D2L or really tell you what your grade is in general. Want feedback on your paper? Goodluck this man writes like a three year old. If you show up to every class you get a C no matter what.

Dr. Igyor is definitely underrated. He's hilarious, and it takes maybe a week to get used to his accent. Perfect attendance will boost your grade by a ton. His exams are long (200 questions), but they're all take home. A really engaging class if you play along.

Igyor is so underrated!! Yah the tests are 200 questions but all the answers can easily be found online! Attendance is crucial for getting a good grade. If you do the tests and you show up, you're probably getting an A. Take him!

Absolutely horrendous. Worst Professor I've ever had. I've never had an instructor give me worse feedback in my life. All he does is say what isn't good with absolutely no indication why, much less how to fix it, and he is nearly impossible to reason with. Doesn't help that he literally only checks his email about 3 times a week. FIND ANOTHER PROF

Igyor is my speech teacher, and he makes fun of students, doesn't grade the papers you turn in, is very mean, and goes back on his word. If he see's one thing that's wrong he'll draw a big X over the whole paper without taking a look at the actual information. He is also very unclear of his expectations which can be frustrating.

I had Igyor for Communication and Media Law. He boosts a letter grade for perfect attendance, cancels class to let you study for tests, tests were online easy to find on Quizlet. Attendance is the key. He seems intimidating and bad reviews gives students a bad idea, but he is a great professor and very knowledgeable in his field.

By far worst teacher in millersville. Can't understand what he's saying, writes nothing on the board, gets off topic very often, makes fun of students, has a bad sense of humor, just an awful teacher. Do not take. Even if you show up 2 minutes late you are marked absent, and every absence is minus a point. Tests will be well over 100 questions.

I had Professor Igyor for Speech. He was very tough, had no patience, and was bias towards your speech topic. If you did not do your speech EXACTLY how he wanted you to do it, you did not pass. He always went back on his words and was stubborn to talk with. He is all around difficult. DO NOT take his class.

Reads right from text book, so you really don't need to waste money buying it. Laughs at students when they make mistakes during a speech. Difficult to understand accent at times. Doesn't always return work, and doesn't use D2L, so you won't know your grade. Only 4 speeches ( 2 individual /2 group) and 1 take home 200 question midterm.

Absolutely terrible professor. Can't teach at all and reads directly from the text book. He teaches things that everyone already knows and says the same thing every single class. Loses a lot of papers and will have zero sympathy about it. He loves telling students how awful their speeches are after every single speech.

Horrible, hope he gets fired. Very rude to students and teaches very poorly. I highly recommend you find a different teacher for this course.
