she doesnt do a very good job at teaching and doesnt seem to really know what shes talking about sometimes seeming pretty confused herself. her tests are hard and dont match the practice tests she gives out at all. it seems that the tests also have alot of questions about problems we never went over in class or barely went over at all.Dont take her

She is a very nice lady. Her main goal is for you to understand what she is teaching. I would recommend her for anyone who struggled with math in highschool. I struggled and now i understand everything. Quizzes and tests are not too dfficult. does require you to go over your notes and study somewhat.

I thought she was very nice and very helpful. I'm not sure why so many people are saying that she is so hard. . . the hardest thing about this class was staying awake because it was so easy it is hard to make yourself pay attention!!!

Hard teacher, hard class. Its not encouraging when your sitting next to classmates and they say that this is there 3rd time taking the class with the teacher and hope to pass. She is one of those teachers that bases your whole grade on quizes and test. Their is no extra credit and she won't ever raise your grade up.

She can be very testy at times but when she's in a good mood class is pretty okay. Sometimes she'll put stuff on the test that we never covered in class because she expects you to do the assingments even though you don't turn them in. Make sure you remember the names for different techniques.

She is very good at getting you to understand the material. She goes step by step and go over everything thoroughly. She is nice always in a good mood, and make sure that you know that her major goal is to make sure that you understand what she is teaching.

yeah when we had questions on the material she said that we should understand it and she wasnt discussing it any more, she talked about that for 15min when she could have been teaching us, she puts material on the test that we never covered in class, and she never ever gives you enough time for the tests, shes not fair with grading at all.

Unless you are a genius in math don't take her. Take your math at a different college (since she is the only math 118 professor). She makes you feel stupid and isnt really that helpful with asking questions. The class is ridiculous.

I took her for a summer class, so it was a lot faster than usual, but she seemed to know what she was talking about. Tests weren't too difficult, and the quizzes usually helped me out.

I had her for an advanced high school class through the MSTC - and she treated us in a bipolar fashion. One minute she was acting as if we were geniuses and she didn't need to teach us - so she didn't. But, the next minute we were in kindergarten and didn't know how to add. Terrible teacher and ruined me for math for the rest of my life.
