Comment:
Although the subject matter was difficult and it was an online class, I learned more than in many in-person classes. Although there were many quizzes, I found her grading of the test to be liberal. She also gave great feedback on quizzes and homework. She was also in-depth with her responses when emailed questions.

Don't pay attention to those complaining about her CSC14 - its an introductory course to sets, boolean math, and other super easy topics - if you fail either you didn't study or you're awfully inept. Her accent isn't an issue either, people are just nitpicking. Kamberova is a fair professor and lenient grader. Study the material and you'll be fine.

Stay away if you can. Very fast, confusing, and unclear, but expects you to understand everything right away. If you get confused she gets impatient and upset. Gives lots of quizzes and tests, most of which are absolutely filled with grammatical errors. Gives large HW assignments every week that she grades harshly. Overall rude, confusing and hard.

Practically impossible to pass her class. Only ones who do are getting Cs at best which is quite pathetic. She doesn't explain the concepts very well. You'll need to teach yourself the material yourself, but for how hard the subject matter is, you won't be able to.

Terrible at making even simple concepts easy to understand. Turns everything into unnecessarily complicated equations and does absolutely nothing to explain them. The classes I took with her were easily the hardest classes I've taken in this department even though the things we learned were not complex and the skills we gained are not impressive.

Very confusing. Her grasp on the English language isn't up to the standards I'd expect for someone who's supposed to be a teacher. Grammar can get bad enough that I've had assignments where I genuinely couldn't understand what was being asked of me. She has even at times asked "what is this called in English?" and pointed at something on the board.

I see all these negative reviews and I'm shocked! She's an amazing professor! She is engaging, and knows her stuff. Yeah, her accent can make it hard sometimes to understand her, and her handwriting isn't always legible (usually is though) but she is a great professor. Her course moves very fast, and the content is already challenging enoug so, DYW

Forgets what she puts on the syllabus so you have to remind her about dropping the lowest quiz and homework grade. quizzes easy 1 question homework vital. takes off 5 points for not stapling. hard to understand. makes mistakes on grading constantly. 0-100 grade did not correlate to her final grade. BEWARE you need to work for her. textbook online.

Lovely women, but her class is definitely difficult. Get used to her accent fast because she breezes through class time with tons of information. forgets about quizzes she offers to make up on a test questions most of the class gets wrong so remind her. Print out review sheet she gives to use during class. You can find the textbook online!

She doesn't know what she's talking about, your grandma knows more computer science than her. She's terrible at expressing herself, you won't understand a word of what she's saying.

She has a heavy Bulgarian accent, so it is really hard to understand her. I went to every single class except when I was sick, which was only one time and I regret missing that day. If you miss a class, you will not know what is going on for the rest of the week since the material is cumulative. YOU NEED TO READ THE TEXTBOOK AND STUDY NOTES

Kamerbova is a very sweet lady! She has a bit of an accent but she's pretty easy to understand. She is all about homework's, so make sure you get them done. They are going to be the majority of your grade. Tests are simple, she lets you a page of notes. She always reminds us of office hours, very willing to help. Class is slow but she explains well

I loved Kamberova, she was really sweet! Class does get hard though if you don't keep up and she's really picky with homework so make sure you get that done the way she wants it or it'll drop your grade.

Unclear and confusing. Has knowledge, too bad it can't through the insanity that surrounds her. Short tempered and gets flusterd easily. If she likes you, you pass. If she don't like you, you fail. You could write poetry for code and if you're liked, you pass. You can write good solid code, and if you're not liked, you fail. Easy as that. Stay away
