He is such a nice guy, but makes the class super boring. I only have it for an hour on MWF and can barely get through it. Tests are easy if you pay attention, and there is barely any homework besides the big project. He is just really really boring.

Dr. Brookins is pretty chill. Lectures are boring but not horrible. I think you need the textbook because he sometimes calls on people randomly to define a term or tell him something about the chapter you were supposed to read. It's also helpful for test review. 3 tests total (1 being the final), pretty fair. Marketing plan isn't terrible but long.

This class is so boring but its not too difficult. His lectures are dry and the class seams to run forever. His tests are pretty straightforward and he wants you to do well. If you can sit through boring lectures, take him, if not, this class will be very hard to stay awake in.

Took him for Retailing. It was a 3 hour night class and he usually held us to the bitter end. Class was pretty easy, no homework. Tests were fair, and the big final project took a bit of work. Overall, if you put in a moderate amount of effort you can easily walk out with a B+

He is a very nice man but he is so disorganized it is unbelievable. He is a good teacher but many times gets lost in conversations that are off tangent. You can learn a lot from him and he never gives hard work. Your overall grade is based on your final project with a few small HW's thrown in there.

I really enjoyed this class. Im surprised to see others didn't feel the same way. He is VERY disorganized. Papers all over the place. Very helpful during the SPSS lectures. The project is a group survey, but many students choose to work individually. Tests were hard. Multiple choice with A, B, C, D, AND E. The final was hard. Soooo long.

I agree with the last comment. He is a nice guy but the test were kinda hard. He is smart in his subject area. There are a few group projects to do with a presentation. Can be difficult if you don't know your marketing research well. See him for help, b/c he is helpful to students.

He's a nice guy and knows his stuff, but over I didn't like his class and would never take him again. His lectures are very boring. He gives quizes and lectures that come right from the book so read it! He tends to assign things last minute, and the final was ridiculously hard even though he lets you have a study sheet.

The most unorganized and confusing professor ever! He does not hand anything back so you never know how you are doing, gives pop quizzes to make sure you are reading the book, and 1 week before the semester ends he assignes a group project. His class is easy but you have to participate (and he will call on you!) Final different than class.

I was surprized to see everyone dissing him. I thought he was amuzing with his sarcastic comments and he seemed to be understanding of my many absences. I suggest being a smart ass and he'll think your funny. His lessons and tests seem straitforward to me. I reccomend him and would take him again.
